Maverick McFarlane Well... they let fans choose the songs they will play and like always, since 90% of metallica fans only know master of puppets, fade to black. seek and destroy, enter sadman,nothing else matters and one, most of their best songs get left behind such as Blackened, Battery, Leper Messiah, Eye of the beholder, the call of ktulu, no remorse, etc.
This is one of my favorite songs they have, I like when they throw it together in the Justice Medley with blackened

@AbyssalSkum-gd5ly you can see enough. You need to have a good idea first. Then where he is just shows you a hint kn the detail.... like does he play that lick on the high strings or lower strings but high on the fretboard. Or is the slide here or there... and how clean you need to get each note to sound good. Sometimes you think you have to get all nites perfectly. Most often there's 50% perfect, 25% sloppy and 25% in between. The sloppy ones add a bit of grit, texture, attitude or power or whatever.

Yeah, for me it's the ultimate Metallica song. the key in E minor, chromatisms, clean guitar sections, tempo changes, memorable rhythm patterns and guitar riffs, agressive lyrics with metaphors, wah-wah solo, melodies and it's very lengthy. I love it!

Great playing dude! My one critique would be that you should turn the backing track down a little and record yourself playing the other guitar parts, then compile them together in your editing software. That way we get to hear more of your fantastic playing and less of the studio album ;)
