I just wanted to thank all of you for continously sharing private and vulnerable parts of your life just so others can educate themselves. I'm currently working on a TV Show with a protagonist diagnosed with DID, trying to finally write some positive representation, and without systems like you guys I would never be able to educate myself and learn enough about this disorder to write respectfully about it. So, thank you very much, out of the depth of my heart, and I hope we'll continue to be able to listen to your guys talking about your life for a long time to come!

Thank you for this video. I have had a lot of imposter syndrome surrounding my what I think is DID since my inner world hasn't been very normal. I just live in it every night when I go to sleep. For the longest time it was the only communication I had with alters. We have a whole universe. We were deeply perturbed by the fact we had complete consciousness while asleep, but could rarely access the inner world while awake. Moreover, we couldn't find any real research on this phenomenon (any you know of would be great) and we didn't want to make conclusions without scientific backing, since the only affirmation we have gotten of our conclusion we have DID is from other systems, since we cannot access other resources.
i have a similar experience with the others - they are always to the left of me. Only and alll good stuff is on the left and the trauma is in a pit on the right. i knew about all of my worlds BEFORE i knew i had DID -- i would travel in to meditate to calm down and there were be lots of people for me to visit there - I used to teach people how to meditate this way . Very elaborate islands , cottages, bridges to healing places.
This is so reassuring to hear! My inner world is currently mostly a black void but there’s a few rooms I’ve been given access to along with a basement type area where one of our more unknown littles is
My experience with my (diagnosed) DID.. is unusual.. comparing how it is for me (as a whole) & other systems ... i don’t have an inner world that i am aware of
@@magesystem im 46 now & diagnosed a few years ago ... I’ve never been able to fully articulate in words how it is for me (like u are able) & i fully understand your explanation & easily grasp what u are saying .. somehow it seems familiar ....& at the same time.. i do realise that DID is diverse & I’m ok with that :)
All i know about our innerworld is that its like a deserted island with some “abandoned” esc buildings. We have a really big beach and a really big forest. There is a big apartment complex that is abandoned i dont think anyone lives there rn. Then there is a little shack thing im the center where the front room is which is like a living room and then a few rooms for some alters who are cohosts i only know of 1 person having a room. I have never consciously seen our innerworld just alot of descriptions. But i really want to see it and i really want to see my headmates. I was wondering if you guys have any tips for a host who is barred from their innerworld if you have any experience or knowledge on that. Ive been told it might be bc im too disconnected from my headmates but ive been trying what i can to try and connect them. Ive seen glimpses of the front room but thats it :,(( hope you guys have a lovely day even if this is a year old -kenzie
The whole “real in the inside” thing resonates with me alot i didnt even realize it. The way you describe innerworlds makes me feel alot better in general. I feel my headmates rn feel some comfort too like our physics innerworld ive heard are so wack haha. But the way you describe the seeing them in space but not a hallucination but you see them is so me. Ive done that so many times even if their appearances are normally very blurred

Yeahh, and that’s okay. Systems are just built to accommodate what your body needs. I probably didn’t at some point. - L

We have what we call the "underworld" or the "flip side" its basically a copy & paste of everything in the upside world except its upside down
