No but a couple episodes later, he accepts it and they all live happily ever after.

Didn't know that Gabriel Macht was such a fantastic director too!
He absolutely nailed this episode with the riveting scene between Louis and Jessica. Best scene of the show!
Did he directed this episode?
@@hennipietila751 yes you just now figure this out?
Just like the firm , even the show's charm felt secure with Jessica. As soon as she left , it just wasn't the same.
SAHASTRAJIT SINGH wow! Couldn't put it any better!
I agree
She leaves ? Thanks buddy
They just changed so many cast members
I loved that Jessica left
Jessica was always like "You brought that kid into my house" but everytime she needed to use it she did so.
well why not? I mean if she's stuck with the stress of it all she might as well get some use out of it, doesn't mean she wouldn't hop in a time machine and undo it all if she could
I love that Mike tell her just that one time
That's exactly what Mike told her in the end
@@FalconFlyer75 She had no right to complain
Just like Louis told her and she admitted to, she’s a hypocrite
Jessica already had a plan to deal with Louis.
She's 10 steps ahead of everyone.
Yup most competent executives have to do that.
Well her plan was to give him what he wanted lol.
@@arsalahmad2200 at her condition
@@arsalahmad2200 she got him to sign something that says he's in the conspiracy too
YOU GOT THAT RIGHT ✅ 👏🏿
Louis not being a spineless man is so interesting to watch. The actor deserves awards
Yeah mad respect for him here
Louis visit to Mike was needless, you leveraged on that secret to get your name on the wall. You should be thanking the kid 🤣🤣🤣
The past episodes were all about driving Louis to the edge of sanity. Between losing his clients, not getting back with Sheila, having his last chance snatched from him after struggling to keep afloat, Louis won the day because he did the same thing Harvey and Jessica would in that position, find a weak spot and go for the jugular. He found out about Mike. He got the literal key to the castle, and he put both of them against the wall.
So yeah, Louis won that battle. And proved that the only way he could have ever done it was to act like Harvey and Jessica would.
Great character work.
Even Jessica had to grudgingly commend him because that's what Harvey would have done
@@realmdarkness Nope, Harvey would never threaten to send Jessica to jail and then get her to bribe him with a promotion. That level of pathetic is reserved for Louis.
@@alexman378 lol, BS! He wouldn’t normally do that because of their deep relationship but it’s a relationship that Litt doesn’t have with Jessica. Harvey would 100% do this and has done it many times to other people such as Hardman. Using blackmail to get what he wants is just one of the many tactics Harvey is okay with.
@@Rushinator1 Hardman was stealing from the company and was actively antagonizing Harvey beforehand. Harvey is OK with threats and blackmail but that’s when it comes to fighting his opponents and not to boost himself up the hierarchy. There’s a MAJOR difference.
@@alexman378 Harvey doesn't threat or blackmail he does what he knows best and that is playing the man
Jessica kinda always kept Louis low. By not promoting him to Senior Partner even though he had crazy billables and by letting him go even though Harvey did something illegal by hiring Mike.
Exactly
Finally someone said it
@@brtmari3654 Jessica promoted Harvey as her yearly pick to senior partner. Hardman picked Louis before Jessica's new year started....and are we really gonna say Louis is better than Harvey?
@@southgalaxydiedforoursins4193 It’s not just about making Senior Partner though. She let Harvey humiliate him every chance he got. In one of cameron cases, I think the end of season 1, they needed a favor from Louis so Jessica literally said he should do it or he will be litt, nothing and nobody.
@@arsalahmad2200 Irony is a spicy condiment. She said that to them, and the tables turned. Of course, they still got Louis to back off, but he had them with their backs against the wall. It must have felt like vindication for him.
''i just ate a big bowl of s**t'' one of my favorite lines, always cracks me up
Don't forget when Louis told Benjamin that he was going to bring him a warm bag of s**t
Lol I had forgot Donna was the one who actually confirmed it for Louis 100% that mike never went to Harvard and that they all knew about it.
Donna always acts all powerful and mighty but literally every single time she’s been put on the spot in this kind of situation, she completely breaks down and caves in
Donna is overrated.
She’s always had Harvey to break her out of these situations I remember how Jessica threatened her in one episode and she completely broke down even Rachel stood his ground for a while
Well if she hadn't done anything, Sheila would've known and the entire firm would've gone to jail. Blame Mike for being the idiot to end up at Louis' house
Realistically the only people that consistently win is Harvey and Jessica.
Donna is easily the best support character anyone could ask for. But there's a reason she's not a lawyer. When push comes to shove, like in this situation, she's non-existent at best.
I would have hoped that Louis got his name up there by different ways!!.. This scene shows him as baddy!!.. he should have got it by some achievement...
Jessica said later in this episode that she would never have given it to him if he hadn't done this, but admitted that this cold blooded move was what Harvey would have done, so he did deserve it
That’s how Jessica got her Jane in the door and how they got rid of hardman
@@TheDCGuitar13 agree....
He has so many achievements under his belt though. Enough to make him name partner. But Jessica just wanted and trusted Harvey no matter what Louis did so they deserved him snatching it from them.
He’d never be able to get there in a different way. He’s barely worthy of being a Junior Partner, let alone a Name Partner. If you see what people who get to that point are like, Louis is not even worthy of being their assistant.
1:29
As much as Harvey was right and protective about given the title to Louis, at the same time he should've known better that Mike's secret will continue to bring drama. Jessica, Donna, Rachel and Scottie had to take it.
Louis’s performance as name and managing partner are Oscar worthy
Louis at his best. But I have to say, Louis deserved it, he embodies that firm
sure that's true but he didn't have to blackmail his team to get back and be a name partner that is why sometimes i can't stand his face he is a 'vindictive sniffling rat'
@@SKdt-jl7of Really? The team that basically fired him?
@@SKdt-jl7of the team that always disrespected him.
@@SKdt-jl7of he did have too because then they never would’ve done it, you people who hate Louis always say he didn’t need to do this but he DID, because they never respected even before everything happened, say what you want but in the end he never once broke the law for his purposes like Harvey.

"Going to jail"! 1:15
Jessica Pearson 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That's like no makeups, no wardrobes, no teapots.
I was with Louis the whole way this season honestly I didn’t like him the first couple seasons but he grew on me after realising the lack of respect Jessica harvey gave him he totally deserved this win
Mikee’s reaction this episode when Louis comes over 🙌🏻
Anyone ever notice that harvey like to call "foul" when he has to face the consequences of his actions?
Honestly I’m still rooting for Mike, but I’m really happy for Louis here. All he ever wanted was to be accepted and treated with respect. He deserved his name on that wall a long time ago.
I feel like he would have been more accepting of Mike’s status as a fraud if he was trusted with the information by Mike, Harvey, Donna and Jessica sooner. He knows what Mike can do and has seen him in action multiple times. It’s the fact that they not only didn’t respect him enough to trust him with that information, but blatantly lied to his face when he was suspicious despite him showing them loyalty numerous times that hurt him.
It's a shame Louis had to get name partner this way cuz he definitely deserved it a while ago but they didn't respect him enough. But he was the hardest worker out of all of them
It all started when they started to change the name of the firm.
My favorite scene in whole Suits
He had long deserved this yet Harvey an Jessica treated him like he was a pos. I was rooting so hard for Louis when he finally grew a backbone.
I think most people that have been in a similar position to Louis was rooting for him. For years Louis had the loyalty of a solider to that firm. And they gave him crumbs in return. Speaking to Jessica in the way that he did in this scene was the beginning of a new era for him.
He deserved absolutely nothing, the man was a cancer to that firm.
@@weepingangel6805 Louis didn’t have any loyalty, are you kidding? He’s betrayed everyone by this point in the show, Jessica, Harvey, Hardman, even freaking Nigel wanted to be his friend and extended an olive branch twice, and got stabbed in the back both times.
@@alexman378 thankyou, someone that isnt a louis fanboy
@@alexman378 Why continue to be loyal when you’re shown every time that you’re considered lower than? Just so I can be mocked and ridiculed again and again? They only have themselves to blame
Most satisfying moment of the whole series.
When you realise Louis was the most moral character in the show and everyone else was a 2 faced hypocrite
I advise you to watch the whole episode because it’s thrilling
Siuuu
That episode ruined Luis for me forever... I get it. It's a smart move to climb up the ladder, but for the honest person they always painted him to be? That's ruined.
He earned his stripes
Strong arming people and blackmailing them is pretty common throughout the show
Harvey, Mike, Jessica literally everyone does it almost every episode one way or another
So its not too much of a big deal for louis as well
Essentially everyone twists when they find Mike's secret. It's the question mark over all of them. They should have written a better story when people found out.
@@darkmaster539 it is written so much better.
Nah, he had had enough of Harvey and Jessica’s BS. I’d say he deserved it.
3:50 this is why I love Louis. He won’t fire Mike cause he knows how valuable he his financially speaking 💀
All this because Harvey was an idiot and hired a lawyer with no law degree and Jessica didn't IMMEDIATELY get rid of him.
Those two idiots deserve each other. I'm glad Louis had his moment.
There are some strong performances in this scene.
I wanted to see a full season of Louis’ villain arc
Rick Hoffman played Louis to perfection. His mental instability was on full display throughout this series. He could be jovial, sinister, explosively angry, ecstatically joyful, goofy, subdued, confused, devastatingly sad, and powerfully focused all in one scene. And you felt it.
I also love how Suits portrayed Harvey. As a ruthless win-or-go-home attorney with a heart of gold. The way he made sure Donna didn't feel at fault in this situation, and during the hearing involving Thomas Kessler, how he bit the bullet when Mike/Rachel did something "wrong" with a case and he took full blame. That's a true leader. And Gabriel played it to perfection also.
From watching these videos I've noticed that when someone knocks on a front door they just walk on in when the door opens without being invited.
Honestly tho, Louis really didn't have a logical way to blackmail them. Because if he did get them arrested the whole firm would go under, because of every case that Mike touched was tainted. He's literally be getting nothing in the end because the firm would be gone for him too.
He was fired anyway
@@w_a_j6941
Why was he fired?
@@charlisena he was made to launder money for Charles forstman and after Jessica found out he was fired
that was the threat. louis lost everything he wasnt working for the firm he "resigned in shame" after confessing to laundering money. he was saying "either give me everything or we all get nothing"
I just ate big bowl of ...
Honestly respect 👏👏👏 he's epic 🤣
there's a quote, not everyone deserves to get help. they will bite the hand that feeds you.
I hated how this was the way he got his name on the wall, yet we all know he deserved it cause he’s one of the best lawyers
This ain’t believable, you think Mike isn’t go do his research and find out you get some key when you leave Harvard. He’s very intelligent and would have done extensive research to protect his cover
Louis owned them
Imagine Jessica Pearson goes to jail, she......... might survive🤔. Only if Annalise Keating was sharing the prison cell with her.
Music name at the start??
I am in deep pain....I need help....please send her
If louis would have left this firm earlier....I can guarantee he would have been a name partner within few years and it would have been legal...He had the most solid clients and He just don't realise his value..
If anyone says his treatment got better for fucksake at the first epi of s8 he had you put Harvey and Zane in place
Not really. You know why? Because when he was fired, nothing really changed. Everything kept going. Louis is knowledgeable but he’s neither smart nor a leader.
Louis is name partner of water which is H2O, H.Enki and O.Osiris
We have a problem! This series is getting into my nerves
Louis is a terrible villin even when he has leverage, he's never prepared and always just hope that leverage is all he needs , that is why jessica and harvey are better than he will ever be sadly
How was he a villian?
They throw louise a senior party birthday party
This is what happens when you give a chance to an amature
Buz with your mindset we would all be still amateurs , because we all start as amateurs and without a chance nobody can grow and become a pro....
Kinda dumb, Lewis just threw himself under the bus, gaining from the situation makes him liable aswell so he's lost any leverage he had 10 minutes earlier
The first time Jessica Lost !
Isnt Louis technically...blackmailing?
Yeah.and its okay.they are lawyers and they do blacmail for living.amd none of them are pure souls.
I hated Louis the most in this episode
i hope you never have to deal what he had to before he earn the respect he deserved.
He deserves to be name partner and the respect.
Just proves how well the actor played him.
👏👏👏👏👏

Sue them
Why is the firm not allowed to hire from non harverd why does it become a crime.
He didn't even go to law school let alone Harvard. In fact, he never graduated from college. It's illegal to practise law without a license and they knew which makes them accomplices.
They're allowed to choose to only hire Harvard law graduates, as the university you graduate from isn't a protected characteristic under US employment law.
They choose to only hire Harvard grads - because of snobbery? Assured skill? Who knows?
@@thesaxophoneboy that makes sense
There's also an element of fraud here. "We only hire lawyers from Harvard" is one of their selling points so as a client, it's what I expect from them. If it turns out that one of their lawyers isn't from Harvard (let's pretend that Mike was just from a lower tier university), it opens them up to all sorts of litigation on any cases that Mike touched. If the client lost a trial, they could sue them on the basis that "I specifically wanted the best lawyers so I went to the firm that only hires from Harvard". Even if it doesn't reach that level, it's a huge scandal on its own and get result in clients dumping them.
@@arandombard1197 I think by he issue is that he’s not licensed at all
They say that Jessica always is with Harvey's side and no one wonder why, come on Harvey is the reason that clients coming to this firm and so Jessica,Harvey's hobby except going to the gym is also closing clients, they don't care about Louis and they still won't care just because he's a name partner if a person hears pearson specter litt they will only care about those two because they are awesome and in rand kaldor zane they only care about zane not Ellen or Eric I need a haircut Kaldor
