Hello Sara, what a lovely recipe! I'm considering using grated lemon zest in this recipe. I have read in several places that too much citric acid affects the soap outcome. Some even blend the lemon and incorporate it in the form of puree and did not succeed. How much lemon zest would you consider safe for this recipe? Thanks for sharing.
I would use lemon juice to substitute a portion of the liquid amount in the recipe. With purées only a tiny amount makes sense. I never tried a part from plantain.

Orange fragrance where did you get it? Those are cute lemon soaps we plan to make some with lemon fragrance and essential oil, cool idea

Hello Tanya, yes That is what a lye calculator does and also how many oils in relation to the lye. On the fragrance you would need to check the specific fragrance oil in the respective website and see what the usage rate is.
