Part 1 - Sculpting the Face - Flesh Structure

In this demonstration you will learn how to begin sculpting the face on the human skull using 10 steps that apply the teardrop shape to create a foundational layer for a the face structure.

I have seen alot of videos on sculpting. Very few build from the anatomy bottom up. Its a very very cool technique. Alot can be learned.

Nathan, why you want to sculpt the lips first ? I'm curious about it

Hello! Thanks for you question. In this demonstration, it is only the muscle structure of the full mouth that is applied, not the "lips" (the part that we put lipstick on). It is important to understand that there is a muscle structure to the mouth that must be considered before the lips. If you do not apply the muscle structure first, the sculpture will typically not have the "depth" and complexity that a the face contains.
