  • If your parking brake (also called emergency brake) is loose and doesn't seem to hold the car from moving, I'll show you how to adjust it. This was done on a 2007 Nissan Titan, but a LOT of cars (not just Nissan) are very similar to this.

    The ground is moving. Good one. Don't forget grease on the caliper pins( bolts ).
    More important than locktite.

    Great video! Was easy to understand, even for an ol' fart like me.
    Appreciate it when a training video will just get to the point,
    without a whole lot of superfluous chatter.
    Thanks!

      @TallFamilyFilms  Před 23 dny

      @@bigdaddystrasser there’s a y-cable of sorts that is attached to the frame via a spring. It could have come loose from there. I might be thinking of the Frontier, but it would be easy to follow that cable backwards to see.

    Hello, do you know where the MAP sensor is located? can you help me locate it on the engine? Thank you.

    First the truck would not hold on a hill. Then it started happening on flat ground so I knew it was time to do this job. If you know of any tricks that make this faster and easier, please let us all know.

    My calipers were in opposite that pin to love was on the bottom did someone put them back upside down, does it matter?

      @@TallFamilyFilms on my armada, the calipers were opposite (upside down) the position of yours. Maybe it's armada vs titan

      @@MPPJ1931 I just looked up another armada rear brakes video and you are correct, Armada is installed at the 3 o’clock position instead of 9. I learned something today. I thought the armada and the titan were almost identical in most aspects.

      @@TallFamilyFilms still the same process being upside down, just reverse the order of what comes out and put back on the caliper first. Your video got me through it. Thanks for being clear and easy to follow that wasnt even an issue for more than 2 mins.

      @@TallFamilyFilms I have to do the other side, but there wasn't any improvement even after doing this side. When I press the parking break in how much movement should there be where the single line splits to each wheel underneath the truck? I have about 1"-1.5"of movement when tension is on it after the parking break is engaged. That enough?

      @@erickgutierrez90 at 00:47 I mention to release the brake. Also, you won’t get very far if you don’t because the rotor won’t come off.

      Brake shoes wear down. Brake cable stretches.
