I like the Blizzard cinematics, is unfortunate the company doesn't put this much effort into the game itself.
I guess. We all love Overwatch because of the animation team. They do make one of the best cinematic ever
the effort is probably there, but they have to play by the rules of the higher ups

the game is pretty fun, it's just paid $20 skins that are not fun
I just realized that Sojourn bought two cups of coffee because she knew someone would be stopping by that day. Like she knew people were watching. And then she poured the second cup into the mug to give to the agent when he got there.
This is a great cinematic and im glad theyre putting effort into showingnthe new characters lore
You know this is just part of scrapped single player right? It not good guy blizzard putting more effort into new characters, its just making most out of the situation.
@@FluffyFloundersthat’s not true! this was the intention of PVE from the start. They only scrapped the small side-mode designed for replay-ability. The main PVE content - the story missions - are continuing as planned!
They removed a huge portion of work with the skill trees and modified the game from having a full end game to a divided up game that can and will change over the seasons, while they alternate with other advertisement-friendly themed events.

@@user-vc9rh3bk8tit wasn't just "small side content." It was more than just three missions. There were massive skills trees that allowed you to make builds and expand their abilities. Different ways to replay missions. It was supposed to be a massive update that they worked on for 4 years and then canceled like it was nothing. Without that, these will just be more archives missions played once and then never again.
I would love it if they made an animated series of overwatch if this game is successful, they might have the chance to make a full series like castlevania and league of legends.
They actually can considering the money they get from $20 epic skins and $15 three missions.

Evan if the game dies, I think they should just continue extending the lore with these animated shorts and stories.
I think there are interesting parallels between the state of the game and the group depicted in the lore. Both started as a means to inspire people. Both were brought down by corruption. And both have people within who keep the heroic spirit of what Overwatch once was. Here’s hoping more people can answer the call.
Fr, I noticed that too. I think they intentionally did it to show how much they want to strive to be better, but the higher-ups won't let them.

the characters of ow are what keep me connected to the series. invest in their stories and ow will become a household name
They need to just make a movie already.
I'd prefer the singleplayer experience that they promise without slapping us a 15 dollars price tag just to experience a watered down version of what they promise

All of their Cinematics always got my emotions like i feel motivated somehow.. if ever Blizzard have a movie of Overwatch all top animation movies will go down.
This cinematics are great. I would more likely pay to watch a animated series of OW then anything in game. Clearly the art team still got passion unlike the game devs lol.
The game devs do have the drive. It's the economic department that's the problem...
@warghostmonx244 i wish that was true but matchmaking issues, cheaters, server issues, bugs, not getting rewards, and balance doesn't seem to be directly tied to making money but are constant issues since launch.

The only good thing I have to say about overwatch 2 is that the cinematics are good and honestly bring a lot of new information about characters. Though be it we have been waiting for this cinematic for months....
If Overwatch really wants to make some money they would invest in a television series at this point. Every cinematic short has been amazing since launch back in 2016!

overwatch cinematics always gives me Goosebumps. Would love to see a full movie of Overwatch at their peak, leading to them disbanding and a second movie of them getting back together or something along those lines. but i doubt blizzard would do anything.
