- I Found A Flatscreen TV Underwater in River After Huge Flash Flood! Today while scuba diving and snorkeling in the river searching for underwater treasure, we found some crazy things: 4 iphones (iPhone XS, iPhone 8, iPhone XR and iPhone 6S) A flatscreen TV, tons of sunglasses, best pair being Costa Del Mar! It was my first ever Kayaking scuba dive trip, and we had an unexpected adventure at the end of the trip... We were also able to return some of the phones! Thanks to Mike for joining me on this trip, and for bringing the dad jokes.

Totally agree, many people would pick up the valuable stuff and ignore the junk even if they were happy to return stuff that they could identify the owner of. Taking the time to clear stuff that is just polluting the water is good to see.

Nah, most of us like our rivers without battery acid in them over finding artifacts. Plus it only takes 50 years for something to be considered a historic artifact.

It would be hard to tell because you don’t know how long they have been in the water

And let’s say an iPhone 6 you would automatically think it’s old
Just because it’s a newer phone it doesn’t tell you how long it’s been in a river
Because a iPhone X could of been dropped months ago and a iPhone 6 could of been dropped a day or two ago
Instant Oatmeal plus it still would be difficult to tell what case is the best because of the times and the pressure of the water and the rapids ect
Some of the cases could of put up with a bit of beating
