  • G.hn is a technology standard that can be used for home networking and delivering broadband service over existing wiring (coax, twisted pair, powerline and plastic optical fiber). It is especially good for delivering broadband service to multi-dwelling units (MDUs) that are not wired for fiber or ethernet. In this broadcast Rick Yuzzi speaks with Livia Rosu, President of HomeGrid Forum, the trade group responsible for supporting the development and deployment of G.hn. They discuss the ways G.hn products can be used by consumers and broadband operators to simplify in-home networking and reduce the costs associated with providing broadband service to buildings.
