First time i ever seen your channel, very entertaining because of all the ideas. What would make it real interesting, to me, if you could work out a way to calculate the energy you put into starting it versus the energy you get out. As well as the time they run. In that case it would be possible to judge which conserve energy the best. Because a few of the setups are pretty bad at that. The one that instantly struck me as the ultimate energy "killer" was the perpetual cycloid mechanism. Showing the ideas in first step, giving us a chance at estimating how well they conserve energy, and then in the second phase going through them with the data of energy input, output, and running time. This would make it interesting in a way that goes beyond simply admiring all the fascinating ideas.

Humans continuously perplex me. Humankind defines perpetual as never ending or changing. The following quote is one of my favorites by Albert Einstein, "Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. The mediocre mind is incapable of understanding the man who refuses to bow blindly to conventional prejudices and chooses instead to express his opinions courageously and honestly." Consider the following, If a device uses gravity as a source of power for operation and operates for a long time is it a perpetual motion machine, no, eventually earth will not exist then the machine using the gravity of earth will quit working. Why don't humans think things through?

I guess some of them are "perpetual" after all.

Well, they all have energy sources of some kind : )
But some nice machines. Would love to one standing in my living room.
The fun thing is, that these machines makes absolutely no sense. If you pause any of the "overbalanced" or "mass shifting" rotating wheels, you can easily see, that there at any given time is more mass below the center of gravity than above, which effectively makes rotation impossible without an energy source.

As always your models are beautiful. It's a shame that most people don't "get" your channel. I appreciate the work you do and hey maybe there is a chance for a self running machine? You are an inspiration. Thank you!!!

Oh, I sure do get his "work". If he'd just say he's built some interesting machines, how do you like them, that'd be okay. But he's actually claiming they're perpetual motion devices and that is not okay.

@@mikethespike7579 Mike he doesn't claim they actually work, in fact just the opposite. Read the channel description. Everyone who watches his channel on a regular basis knows this. He is a master model builder and buys a lot of motors 🤣

Here the simple question comes, that is if they are really practical, why is it we have energy problem just yet? Dont u think in bigger size they can solve our energy usage?Though I wont rejet them but stil, hard to accept. I think they come to pause because of friction & air resistance & gravity forcis after passing some time may one or two minutes.Any way thak you.

I do appreciate the engineering hugely, you need serious precision and time to make these things well done!
