Fun stuff! Long live the DA revolver. I really like that model 22.
Thanks, It's a beautiful gun!
Port you let me down! Lol I figured Jake would win
He let us all down haha
Hey, Ma - them Pearce boys are at it again! Great video! 👍
Thanks! We had a lot of fun filming this one so there will probably be more like this to come!
That is why i daily carry a double action. It doesn't leave control of your hand the swing out cylinder provides ample room to control loading loose rounds. The only hangup would be one slipping under the ejector. I'm nowhere near good enough to load a magazine one handed. Looks like being lefthanded is a big help on the single actions. I wonder if you would be faster loading 6 in the magazine instead of waiting for the 7 or 8 in the auto loader.
The double action is a great carry option! We are going to do more videos like this and test some other scenarios. It was fun to do haha
Very entertaining guys!
Thanks! It was a lot of fun!
Hopeing for more videos like this
There will be more! It was a lot of fun to film so we are planning on doing these types of videos regularly.
That was fun to watch haha
It was fun to do!
I love all 3 firearms, but the 22 loaded with heavy cast bullets in AR cases is my pick.
That model 22 is an awesome gun! It's definitely a favorite.
@@PearceBrothersGearGuide I really want one, but already have 4 .45 ACP revolvers. Buying another might be a sign I need help.
@@876mpr haha more is always better!
Gotta root for the fellow lefty
Long live the lefties (not to be confused with liberals)
Great video, you rocked that model 22 , keep the videos coming God bless!!
Thank you! Will do!
Good stuff Fellas keep it up 👍
Thank you!
Question. Why was Porter cocking the hammer with the thumb of his shooting hand? Is that faster for him?
Haha Port likes to do things the hard way
good video 👍
Thank you 👍
Excellent video. To be fair, that Ruger can handle a lot more potent loads with the 45 Colt cylinder, so would be a better gun for a different scenario. Great stuff.
We swapped the cylinder out for the video so we would all be shooting 45 acp to make it mor even. The double action just had some more potent loads because that was the only 45 auto rim that we had. Usually Port runs his blackhawk with just 45 colt. He didn't even have any acp ammo so he had to borrow from Joe haha

@@PearceBrothersGearGuide absolutely! Just saying that while one gun is top dog in one scenario, another is top in a different one. 💪🏼
Agreed!
Oddly enough.... in over 50 years of active shooting..... I have never needed to reload in order to get off 50 shots. in my...... experience. if you can't get it done in 3-6 rounds? You simply are not gonna get it done. in fact my nightstand gun is a Colt SAA clone in 44 special. I believe that there is almost no chance that I will need all six rounds for the purpose this gun is being put to but.... probly more than a 50% chance that I will need to shoot it at close range (less than 10 yards) without using the sights. Cause I am likely to be in a hurry or in the dark or both.
The stats also say you won't get to a reload in a self defense scenario. This was just for fun!
Where did you get the fedora? It’s nice!
It's from Herbert Johnson out of England. Thisnis the make and model Indiana Jones used in the movies
@@PearceBrothersGearGuide thank you!
