I have already changed this valve on my 240000km 1.6 HDI which is easy to do, but I was wondering how I could manage this change on my 260000 km 1.4 HDI. Now I know ! Thanks for sharing this video 👍

Well, I did try again and I pulled out the cap from the front, without removing the whole frame, so it is possible.

  • @jorgeorozcotovar841

is there some way to glue it again? or some way to fix it again after opening it?

Is the procedure similar in hdi?

What is the part number of the membrane part.

  • @johndocbikerestorations831

Is it possible for this type of PCV to be stuck in the closed position, causing positive crankcase pressure? The diaphram you removed looked in good condition, what was the problem with this particular car? Thanks

Thank you for the video! Very useful! Is there an oring that needs to be replaced under the plastic cap? In my car there is a little oil spill around that cap. Thanks

Hi, is it unavoidable to remove the whole frame please? I removed the air filter and tryed to lift the cap from behind, as shown in video, but I did not succeed.

Hola. La membra de la PCV del HDi 1.4 es igual al HDi 1.6?

  • @ayoubrahmani6821

    How i find this pieces

  • @SV13GRK

Hello, I have tried today to remove that cover using a heating blower with no luck. There was smell of burnt plastic but that cover would not flick an millimeter. I got to mention that this engine has 360k km and the valve cover was never changed. I tried testing by covering the opening that goes out of the pcv side and I understood that if the membrane is broken I should see oil coming out of the two small holes but I don't. The oil must be coming from other place. Let me know your thoughts on this.
