  • 12T for the front, 44T for the rear. Equivalent to a 48T in the rear with a 13T in the front. I did this as an experiment and so I didn't have to change the chain.
Also, I started using a new Gopro Hero 7 Black and I messed up the aspect ratio so I apologize for the small screen.

Just a word of advice - it’s much easier to hold the bolt with the Allen wrench and loosen the nut, as opposed to holding the nut and loosening the bolt.

Quick question super random but were you in the military? i've watched several of your videos and you're very organized, well detailed, and the right amount of information.

I have tried a couple of different (lower) gearing set ups on my WR, but have now returned to the stock 13/43 and find I like it a lot.

    Hi, Nice video!
Locking the rear brake is good tips for me
Just YFI, Changing the sprocket ratio also changes the speed meter pulse.
12oClockLabs's SpeedoDRD Speedometer Calibrator is good solution

14-47 is a good setup I heard also replace any worn chain guide or rollers

Nice stuff mate, it will be interesting to see how that chain slider wears are you say. I had gone just +2 in the rear on mine when I had it, I was able to keep the stock chain and make up the difference in the axle adjustment.

Went with 13 46 Mox rear. The gearing is lower than what I expected but it works very well on back roads. The Mox is nice to have, no more harshness. Next time I will probaby try a 45 rear so I can still go on the motorway.

I think the 14 49 is more adventure oriented. I went with a set up more dirt oriented. We'll see how the wear on the swing arm goes...

Never put a 12t on the front of a wr250r they already have a problem with the chain chewing up the swing arm go with a 14/50 and new chain
