Get yourself a vacuum backpack. When you expose the bedrock you can use it to suck up everything and requires very little effort. Dump straight from the vacuum pack to the classifier and then to your sluice. They run about 500 bucks, but let me tell you... they save ALOT of energy, especially after all that digging to expose the bedrock. Very informative video. Thank you for sharing.

Hey, flying miner Elko sleddneck here. I Do a lot of panning and metal, detecting and stuff like that, but of just now getting into the nugget hunting thing spend a whole lot of time down at ride patch. Waste time. I was going to go up to the Montello area due to the fact my great granddad had mines up there and he also said it was a lot of gold there. Just kinda wondering if you could give me spent advice? I'm planning ongoing out this weekend. My girlfriend and II have a small high banking system like yours, hands, gold magic, auto panther and a couple, gold pans and a monster 1000 so I think I could probably find some color I just need to know where I should be going. Kinda crazy I'm asking this question when I work at the largest gold mine in the united states.

Two. Most of us, it’s a point of discovery when that black sand washes away, and there’s a little speck of natural gold, we pulled out of the ground ourselves.
To me, it’s not the destination, but the journey for sure

I have to laugh at these comments. The biggest gold you’ve seen in Utah huh? Hate to burst that bubble but Kennecott is digging on a vein of gold that’s about 3’ wide and 16’ long, supposedly goes miles back

Lots of work for litte $. Whats that like 70 bucks. Hard pass. I am only interested in the money, and that ain't cutting it. Everyone is an expert these days ha ha. Lots of "experts" channels. When you make a living doing it then you got something. And at that point why bother with you tube? Atleast it seems like you are not salting the show like most others are doing.

Yeah, definitely no salt in the gold I post that’s why I don’t post that often. I don’t find it all the time.
I agree if you’re out to try to make a living doing this, you’ve made a poor choice but that’s not why most of the people do it

It may not be for you. Its comparable to fishing.. do some research, buy some gear and go on an adventure. Instead of coming home with meat in the box, he has gold in his pocket. He's not trying to pay the bills with it, just a hobby.
