A quick fly with the dji mini 2 drone over Middleton starting at parish church, the Warwick mill, Middleton shopping centre, wood street, bowness road and then finally the bottom of Clough road.
I believe it was bought by a Chinese consortium a good few years back. There was talk of converting it into a large independent shoppers retail area. A bit like botany Bay in chorley. It was going to be call the red brick or something similar. But nothing as of yet ? Think brexit had something to do with it ??
