Liberty is "taking the piss " +a navy is a man who dug out our canals, which taking of Birmingham, we here have more canals than Venice, a canal is a long stretch of water that was made to move goods around the country, a early type of motorway, and the barge was it's lorry, a thin metal boat,

Birmingham is in the Midlands ( middle of England). A Gannet is a greedy sea bird. Nan's daughter is played by a comedy actress called Kathy Burke. She has bee in a comedy series, here in the UK called 'Gimme, Gimme, Gimme'. Liberty in this case means being a bit cheeky, doing something without permission. Great reaction. Glad to hear about your pops. Soo from the East of England. Merry Christmas to you & yours

Nans daughter is Kathy Burke. She is an actress and comedy sketch artist made famous in Harry Enfield omedy show. That accent Kathy does is her real accent as she is from East end of London. It is a cockney accent. F***ing liberty means taking advantage of in the worst way. I'll try and explain. If you were to lets say tell someone you would help them and then when the job was done you asked for an outrageous sum of money that would be a liberty but we are British it is always preceded by f****ing like most sentences in UK. I"m Scottish so there are generally no sentences or phrases that do.mot contain several swear words. As I am writing my language is English but in everyday life in my city of Dundee in Scotland, talking with friends etc, you wouldn't know what I was saying.because of accent and dialect but you would be able to pick out those swear words. Have a listen to Scottish COD player clips.
In UK,, Eddie you can't go more than 10-15mins in any direction without coming across a completely different accent.

Nan reminds me of my old mum. Mum would F and blind (but never the C word!). She was a London cockney. Dad was opposite; so quiet, would never swear. I remember one Christmas day I got upset because one of my brothers came to visit and stayed - for one hour! (he could do no wrong), I said, 'god's sake, sure he could spare you the time!'. She promptly told me to shut up and if I didn't f**king like it I could piss off! It was pouring rain, but I called a mini-cab and paid to go all the way across London and home. Poor dad was crying as I left, but mum just lit another cigarette and ignored me. Families. Ha! But so sorry to hear about your dad.

If someone’s good with accents and/or impersonations/impressions then they’ve found themselves a friend for life and you absolutely nailed all of them. Your content is beautifully moorish and I find that providers of said content do tend to actually be that way themselves (who dear, me dear, no dear, Eddie dear). Shout out to Derek!
Navvy is an old school term for a tough, hard working labourer. Nevertheless, it’s also synonymous with the word roughneck, which can sometimes be used as a derogatory slur.
A gannet essentially means a gluttonous or greedy person.
A liberty is any kind of action that shows an irritating amount of disrespect, typically if it’s inconvenient and/or time consuming. An example of this would be: being forced to lend your charger to someone when your own mobile device is low on battery. Another example would be not giving me a heart shaped seal of approval, haha!
Kathy Burke is a major UK comedic icon who became popular during the 90s. Hencewhy there was such a raucous applause from the audience when she made a very rare onscreen cameo for the Christmas Special, particularly as she’d moved on to spending most of her time behind the camera, so it was a welcome return finally seeing her back on TV.
Hopefully you FAAAKIN’ like this post, hahaha!

"Ranjit" is also a well-known UK actor, Nitin Ganatra. He made his debut in the film 'Truly, Madly, Deeply' in 1990 alongside the late great Alan Rickman, and was in 'EastEnders' (the UK's third longest running and second most watched soap) for twelve years.
Birmingham is in central England. It has long had a very large Asian population. It's known as the country's second city after London (though Greater Manchester is larger). Birmingham in Alabama is named after it.
A gannet is a bird similar to a seagull and renowned for its huge appetite.
"Navvy" is a slang word for sailor, docker or other water worker (from the word navy).

I don't think they open pubs here on Christmas day. If you want drink go to an off licence or a supermarket in advance and get your own drink

I'll go to a Bar once in a while, but you're right. Grab a drink at the store and have a party at home. That's me anyway.

I know this is late but Pubs are open Christmas day - where I live anyway, not all day though. Pop down our local with my brothers.
