His whole department rallied around him, put charges on her while she was still in the hospital recovering from busted face and broken ribs. Tried to put charges on me for lying to cops and obstructing justice because I refused to write a statement that said she hit him first. She didn't. She curled in a ball on the floor crying and begging him to stop. They wanted to put assault charges on me for attacking a cop when I tried to step between them. Charges were dismissed after they harassed her and me for a year because the neighbor couldn't be convinced to say she saw us hit him. she stuck to her guns and told the truth about the cop. All said and done he got elected sheriff and put on a pedestal as best cop ever, and she has a lung that will never work the same again and had to move out of state to stop being pulled over and given tickets every other day. Cops are not your friends. They only protect each other no matter how bad they are.

If you've ever had a dog, you will know if you attack something playfully like a pillow the dog will also bite at the pillow, not a grab and hold but nipping with the front teeth. That's exactly what the K9 officer described and was consistent with the arm injuries, he even identified the exact tooth which did what damage. This case stinks of corruption.
