I appreciate the show for tackling the difficult topic regarding gender identity. A conversation much needed within the black community.
I do believe there’s an area of opportunity to help educate us all, by bringing a transperson on the show to have this type of dialog. We can’t continue to choose to be ignorant if there are ways to gain understanding.
Perspective matters. Think about how we’d feel, if 3 white people were sitting around discussing black issues. Giving their opinions of black people’s lives and livelihood, only from what they’ve heard or perceived.

Funky's skin is amazing, and could pop as much as the other two hosts if he were to include some warmth in his lighting. It would show the full spectrum of his tones, versus the cold tones of what ever lighting he has, and would counterbalance the blueish hues of his backdrop.
His skin is actually popping. He has come a mighty long way. He looking really good as of late 🙂

Yes this is such a tricky subject that I have been thinking about. I do not think that trans folks should be harmed or discriminated against but they shouldnt have more rights than biological women have either. This is why I like Flame Monroe because though a transwoman I think she has a reasonable balance between rights in her community and women too.

We have science that argues both sides. However, if we want to know if Transwomen athletes have an advantage over Ciswomen athletes, results are results. And facts are facts. Look up the number of transwomen athletes who beat CISwomen athletes in competitions. Compare that with the number of Transmale athletes who beat CIS male athletes in competitions. That gives us a clear answer as to whether hormones make a difference.
We only hear about trans athletes when they win, the majority of which we don't hear about because they aren't winning. Hormones can make a difference, however that means that CIS Athletes with natural high hormones shouldn't be allowed to compete either. So people like Michael Phelps never should have been able to compete. If hormones count for trans athletes and Cis gendered women, then they should also count for Cis Gendered males.

Hormones aren't the only thing at play. Musculoskeletal structure is a major factor when discussing athleticism.

I don't know the other lady, but her name is Caster Semenye from South Africa and we are very upset!! She is a sisgender woman, identifies as a woman and is in a lesbian relationship but was not allowed because she has higher levels of testosterone. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!
