I thought I related to Jared’s opiate constipation story but then it kept getting worse😂
I was like 16-17 at the time and I think they gave me Vicodin as well and I did not shit for probably a week. My mom bought me a stool softener and then I got a full body rash which was the first and only time I have ever experienced an allergic reaction to anything.
Then my mom bought me a big bag of dried prunes and a liter of prune juice and I don’t know if it helped but I did eventually poop and it was more the size of a pool ball. I was also terrified about popping stitches or something cause it was technically neurosurgery but it was on my skull and not my brain but it felt like a lot of pressure🙃
That experience has made me wonder why people abuse opiates because that is the most vivid pain I have ever experienced and I didn’t even rip my asshole💩

Usually when someone abuses Opiates they run out and will go through withdrawal. Withdrawal side effects are like the opposite of Opiate side effects ie raging diarrhea

My greatest physical pain I've felt is GALL STONES. 10/10 pain. I was crying in the ER at age of 44. Doctor had to inject me with some wicked pain medication.

Love these two 😂😂. That's happens to me too, Jared. I can't take that medicine or I'm backed up for days, so much so I had to go to emergency to have them help me relieve myself 😂. It's the WORST.

I had chronic pain on/off (it would last for weeks, maybe nearly months) for about a year from thoracic outlet syndrome (neuropathic). The pain would get so bad, I couldn't even move (which makes it worse overtime bc your body is just bedrotting) and anything I ate didn't stay in my body. Even turning my head slightly was enough to cause intense pain. There were times I couldn't eat for days because the pain was so bad. The pain was also bad enough to make me throw up and I couldn't sleep some days. I ended up losing too much weight and I'm trying to gain it all back lol.
Also, painkillers did not help. Whether it was OTC, prescribed, creams, pads, etc. the only things that worked was physical therapy, massages, pot, and shrooms. The first time I went to PT was the first time I microdosed and right after that session, the pain was immediately gone for a while.

I get it, these are only stories. However, take it from someone who knows. Taking three or four pain pills will not make you that constipated !!!!
I my guess is Jared was probably on pain medication during and after the surgery couple that with the hydrocodone and not being able to eat for 24 hours before surgery could be a recipe for constipation, we all have Opiate receptors in our stomachs this is one of the reasons why during use or withdrawal there are so many Gi side effects

I agree ENT or plastic surgeon would have been the best move maybe he didn't have insurance at the time? He said he didn't want to revisit the same nurse who just drain his ear days before, 95% nurses what to help, so it probably would have been a non issue. Perhaps she instructed him to let his ear heal so he assumed she wouldn't be as helpful returning with the same issue a couple days later who knows... Either way I like his ears they remind me of my H.S gym teacher's ears 😄
