Exploring Japan's Modern Art Haven, Naoshima! - Journey Across Japan

Off the south coast of Okayama, we heard to Naoshima, a small island famous for it's art exhibits, both large and small, museums and sculptures, with big name artists and architects in grand museums to small independent artworks scattered around the island.
We check out art in the Chichi Art Gallery from Claude Monet, James Turrell and Walter De Maria, as well as the Benesse House and the Art House Project.

Love how you gave a bit of history lesson of the place. If I may ask which city did you leave from how early did you leave? I’m planning to visit this place this December but it’s quiet far from Osaka.

Hey! Sorry for the long wait - we stayed in the city of Okayama. Even though it’s the closest major city, we still had to take 2 trains and get up quite early for it. If you’re travelling from Osaka you’ll need to set off early to have enough time for all the sites!
