I love the way the X4 looks.

Love the look. Don’t need the extra storage but why cant they include a roof mounted camera to make up for the reduced rear visibility and a rear wiper?

Why do reviewers always don’t talk about ride comfort, suspension, and quietness?

As you do (Driving Sports TV), I also love the "coupe" design. I feel too much focus is put on the cubic feet most SUV owners rarely use. How often do you see a SUV loaded up to the roof or even partially covering the windows, not too often. So get away from the "loss" of cubic feet and look at style, you either like it or you don't but that goes with any vehicle out there.

If you buy a coupe SUV obviously that means you value the driving experience and like to be sporty, why won't you get a wagon then? S4 or C43 or even 540i wagons are all faster, more excited to drive than a 2.2 tonne SUV WHILE offering bigger space for people and cargo. So WHY? These coupe SUVs do turn heads....but I think people turn heads because they want to see what kind of person would buy these cars more than anything else. LOL

This is exactly true, everyone looks at the cubic capacity and then never load the hatch area higher than the privacy cover. The X4 is really a sedan with good ground clearance - great for snow or uneven roads.

Not trying to ruin the video for anyone but one piece of information is incorrect. It is a twin scroll single turbo. At 3.49 he mentions its a twin turbo. Just wanted to point it out. Inline 4 cylinders very rarely have twin turbo setup.

I'm on board with the suv coupe bandwagon :D Just finished a '15 murano lease and saw my first MB GLC a few years ago. So in the fall I went shopping. x1 felt good lots of vision but felt like a futbol mom. x2 seat was lower than i wanted but great test drive. x4 seat was perfect height for 6'4" me to get in and out. not as roomy and plush as murano, but felt like a race car inside. did not test drive x4 because a bit out of price range with smart cruise which was a must. had a great test drive in a nx hybrid after about 20mi fiddiling with the seat to find a comfy position still feeling a bit cramped. xc40 seat felt similar and liked the leg room but could not find long distance comfort in seat. Yes, I even test drove piles of scoots including caddie xt4 which was great but all they had was a loaded sport at 50k and i just could not feel the caddie vibe. Then I saw at vovo the s60 cross country. boom. mic drop. eye candy! I barely fit but it is a discounted '17 which put it in my price range. Prem Pkg has the smart cruise and i found a way to make it happen. Have had a couple really fun sporty drives even gettin' a bit squirely in some sandy corners.) awd will be appreciated in wisconsin winters. the Pirelli verde scorps are slippery at best(even when dry!) but I kinda like it when mixed with the torque vectoring. Thanks for the great vids and bless up

why would you compare the Honda CRV or Toyota Rav-4 when those do not have the sport back roofline - therefore the comparison makes no sense. Rather, compare the X3 with those when it comes to storage capacity.... despite the class level difference, it would be a more fair comparison.

Efficient dynamics ... charging the battery or not!? Who cares?! It’s a ~100Wh Pb-acid battery that’s almost fully charged after startup, that’s nothing in terms of energy anyway. :)))

The fact that you compared this vehicle to a Honda or Toyota SUV is extremely insulting. I have a X4 and I am getting the New 2020 version this month. Excellent vehicle.

Am I the only one who hates how BMW puts 'xdrive' in the model names? We get it, it's their awd system so why not go back to X4 30ix? To me, the more convoluted the car name, the more the company has problems with their identity (Infiniti is guilty of this too). Sad that these replaced the 5series wagon in the states...to me, the x4/x6 are unnecessary bloat in the bloated market that is "the crossover/SAV/SUV" market.
