I love your enthusiasm! Ren mixes The Big Push’s busking videos. He explained the process in the comments of one of their videos:
*"Line inputs running from each of the busking amps into a H4N recorder. Then the H4N condenser mic placed in front of the amps to capture the ambience of the street, then another iPhone mic recording the drums (just set on voice recorder), then mix all that together in post on logic with some light compression and EQ to make everything pop, and voila!”* A commenter challenged his answer saying that the performance had been mimed, not live audio. Ren replied, *“The reason I can get a decent sounding mix from a live session is because I have spent a lot of time working on getting a decent sounding mix from a live session.”*

thank you for sharing this. pretty cool how creative how some people get with their setups. I saw that Ren's dad has a channel and is a musician and makes short films. I imagine the knowledge in the family helped him quite a bit. What a talented group he has around him.

@@dicodec There are lots of great versions of Blind Eyed. The one on the street that initially when viral. Another one think performed at MC Crowns which has better sound. The fun angry car park attendant version which shows how amazing they can perform in a tricky situation. Also there is a cleaner sound of original street busking version with great video of the many ways they performed this song.
Ren can make you love any genre of music you don't normally like, one of a kind!

I think Romain is playing an Epiphone, an ES-335 or similar. Love the giant grin on your face, same for me every time I play this.
Someone commented on another video that Romain's guitar is an Epiphone Emily Wolfe Sheraton Stealth.
Singing those lyrics "fck you I won't do what you tell me!" is brave in a high street full of shops and pedestrians... However Brighton is a very Artisan and creative Town... They can cope with it... 😂
Their busking style is to mash up and cross reference, sometime subtly, sonetines obviously, then come back to the main tune.
Ren records the instruments and vocals separately then mixes it later. That's why it's so clear with little background and crowd noise.
Ren and Sam busking is also absolutely amazing!! ❤😊

I know you've already seen one version of Sheriff, but I think yiuvd love the other medly from this same busking set, which was I Shot the Sheriff/Rd to Zion/Hip Hop. It was the "massage" they referenced before the "kick in the face". The way they blend Marley and Dead Prez is fab, and there's some fantastic guitar work that it'd be ace to hear your thoughts on.
They are a Great Band, Love your insight on the technical side of things, From what Ren has said he's open to playing with the Band again depending on Everyone's Schedule as they are all still Friends but with him in Canada for up to a Year getting Treatment obviously that's not happening for a while, The Big Push - I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop, is the one to react too, or a great original Song of Theirs, The Big Push - Watch Out (live busking)

You should do a reaction to dir en grey … any thing from uroboros, dum spiro spero, or phalaris. However, most of their songs are moving, emotionally embracing…and I don’t even understand their language so without knowing the meaning of the lyrics you can feel them. Like an opera of sorts . I love ren when I heard him for the first time I was definitely blown away with his raw emotion emanating through his music and voice . 😅
