Handling Unfair Negative Feedback

  • Unfair #feedback can sting like nothing else, especially when we receive it for ourselves. Whether this happens during a formal evaluation or a less-formal chat with your supervisor. If that feedback is significant enough to impact your reputation or compensation, you’ve got to be your own best advocate.
    Through this video, I'd like to share a template for responding to unfair feedback.

    - Share evidence
    - Wrap up with a suggestion

    Nice video but a bit late for me. I resigned during the pandemic year without having another offer in hand because I couldn't take unfair negative feedback anymore. I hope this will help me should I need it in future

    Thanks for sharing but I don't like the idea to open the system and show it to your manager right away. No one will like it and it will also show that you are being defensive
    Take a proper not and schedule a separate session to talk only on your way forward to be more specific
