It's definitely easier to do pop-country given it's nearly all slower paced compared to standard pop and requires less difficult vocal dynamics, usually no runs or difficult transitions unless you're Dolly Parton. Plus the ranges tend to be quite a bit less impressive.

Sometimes, flat notes can sound good because the singer went intentionally flat, like taking a note down a notch, or doging a high note with a lower ad-lib. Like, Beyoncé and Christina sounded good compared to the rest and Mariah's note on When You Belive is already an Eb5, so she had to hit it like that !
