can u make a video on how Wanda will be important in avengers secret wars pls
Now that we've seen MOM,Why were the twins Pleading 4 help? Because in MOM they seem 2b happy af,lol
yea, im still so confused about that. I think it's probably just a plot hole@@tonypayne7371
@screencrush interesting that wandavision happened in Jersey and Kamala Khan is from Jersey!
Omg I just realized@@julianneb2941
My wife and I have rewatched this show 3 times. Probably due for another. This and Loki are my favourite Disney+ series.
This was Peak Phase 4, watching this show weekly really takes you on a journey.
Don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone say “peak phase 4”. I needed a good laugh tho. 😂
@@AlexL415hear it again😅
@@AlexL415 It went all downhill from there…But relative to everything else in Phase 4 besides Loki & Spider-Man it was the one of the best. Still nothing compared to anything before Endgame but seeing this on the tale end of Endgame not knowing what to expect and also not knowing how Phase 4 was gonna turn out, it was a dope watch…..Ignorance was bliss.
It was a great time of weekly story telling
Good times, good times
Wandavision was my favorite point in the MCU. It felt like the possibilities were open at that point.
WandaVision and Loki are the best things they’ve done in years. I want more wild stories like this. THIS IS COMICS!
"...and Monica was a S.W.O.R.D. agent." Editor proceeds to slip in the CLEANEST CUT TRANSITION I'VE EVER SEEN! Well done, you. Well done.
Pavel Tervehovsky. Nice cut.
Facts! Such a smooth transition
What minute?

It's prity slick
A lot of people here saying “the last two episodes were terrible.”
You guys have to realize that the pandemic made them shuffle a lot of things. Remember how wandavision had random commercials and someone trying to communicate with Wanda through the radio and then when Paul Bettany said there was going to be a huge cameo, and then it was just white vision? Well, that was suppose to be Doctor Strange. But due to the pandemic, Benedict Cumberbatch couldn’t fly out to film his scenes. So they used Darcy and Jimmy woo to fill in those roles.
The final episodes were suppose to include doctor strange and that was going to immediately lead us into his movie.
And right after that movie, Spider-Man no way home was suppose to come out. But again, due to the pandemic, a lot of people couldn’t fly out to film Doctor strange, so Spider-Man got pushed up and released before doctor strange.
America Chavez wasn’t supposed to debut in doctor strange. She was suppose to debut in Spider-Man no way home. She was the one who was suppose to bring all the Spider-Men together, with her portals, not Ned all of a Sudden being being able to master a wizard ring and open portals.
That’s why a lot of movies in phase 4 feel whacky and out of place.
That explains a LOT!
Nobody with a brain is saying episode 8 sucked. Episode 8 is the best episode in the entire show! It's a masterpiece character study.
WandaVision was so amazingly trippy! Loved every moment of the show.
15:48 She didn't blast Fietro because he was kinda mean. What he said made her realize he wasn't her brother. He says "It's not like your dead husband can die twice!" If he was the real thing he couldn't know that. He was dead before Vision died outside the Hex, so its impossible for him to know he had died previously.
WandaVision isn't just my favorite MCU project, it's my favorite movie/show ever, of any kind.
So I think I just realized something but I may be wrong. The sound bite at the end of Wandavision, is that the same sound of the boys yelling for help when they were afraid of 616 wanda in Multiverse of madness? When she tries to go to them by the stairs and she starts to cry because they are afraid of her and begin calling for their real 818 mom. Idk if it is but I think it is.
I can’t believe we went from that to secret invasion 😞
How many recordings of Doug do you have? I don't imagine you record him for every video you make. I love every second of him
I like how that date on the calendar was also the date Spiderman no way homes trailer aired! Everyone was wondering about the trailer and never caught this
I must admit that having read these Avengers stories, I found the TV serial very engaging. Wanda' s life, and her infatuation with Vision, in the comics, was a weird science fantasy that read more like an X-Men story. It's a corner stone of Marvel lore. To see it on screen was mesmerizing. The writers accurately conveyed the eerieness of Wanda. They made us laugh, but there was nothing funny going on. The horror of her capabilities are unshakable after the radio intrusion.
I don't think she's eery. She's a sad character
It really was a good show! Thanks for the recap!
Agreed. Very good recap of Wanda, the Avenger and Wanda Vision. But I agree with Doug. Puppy killer Agatha grrrrr
Agatha murdering a puppy means she’s forever irredeemable in my eyes 🤷♂️😅
This Wanda hex reminds me ALOT of protocol 42😮 especially when Vision talks to that employee.
I forgot how sad the ending is. I probably should have rewatched the show before watching Dr Strange, because I can see why she wanted her kids back so badly
Yes and no. I feel like she had worked through so much of her grief in Wandavision but Multiverse of madness messed that up. Like at the end when she had to let vision and the kids die I feel like she understood this is t the way but then went full evil mode. She has come out and said that MOM producers were not really aware of the Wandavision story prior to production. I feel like Kevin Feige should have clued them in
Oh the memories of how many theories and content around them on screen crush. Good time
You'd think Vision's first stop on his new, post-memory restoration journey would be Wakanda -- to acquire Shuri's synaptic refactor data she scanned and re-wrote during Infinity War.
That's probably an important archive of algorithms containing Vision's prior Mind Stone + synthezoid amalgamation.
On the other hand, Vision is the most advanced AI on the planet and could likely hack through Shuri's best firewalls to search for the synaptic data. He wouldn't need to fly there in person and physically interface with a server, unless Shuri had a specific device tailored to Vibranium-enhanced data structure transfer - considering he's 80% Vibranium.
Alas, this is another straightforward narrative thread that Marvel neglected to pursue to help keep the universe connected. It would've only required a brief cameo in Wakanda Forever. Vision could have tactfully offered his condolences to Shuri for the loss of her brother while there.
Perhaps this was in the plans after WandaVision, but Chadwick's passing changed the whole approach to Wakanda Forever -- so an idiosyncratic Vision cameo would have been considered out of place in that story.
And the Multiverse of Madness writers/director ignored all of this. 😢
Best summary ever of a show I tolerated until the last 2 episodes! Thank you
The best thing to come from WandaVision was the Scarlett Witch comic that features Darcy in the real 616
I thought that a video like this was coming but more like a recap for Captain Marvel, WandaVision and MS Marvel for The Marvels.
I always put on WandaVision as a background visual while I'm cleaning, but every single time, I end up sitting and watching the show instead of cleaning.
WandaVision is nearly perfection if only they didn't fumble that ending and inserted that Ralph Boner "joke" spitting in the face of X-men fans who reasonably got their hopes up thinking they were bringing in Fox X-men's Quicksilver.
But it's OK. Everything has been OK!! 😖
That fumble sucks so much! I hope they fix it down the line by showing that it was Peter from the Fox universe (so not her brother, but the brother of another Wanda), and that he was there to help her but also got caught in her hex and thought his name was Ralph Boner. Agatha could have known this or just made use of someone that appeared close to Pietro…ether way works. As long as they fix this horrible mistake…especially now that they are bring the fix x-men back!
Yeah but how would he have crossed the multiverse prior to Loki? I mean I like the rest of this idea. There was a bunch of hope when he came over obviously. That sucked when he was “Ralph”.
@@occheermommy Yeah, I don’t know about that part either, but they seem to be introducing all sorts of things that could explain it.
@@occheermommyWandaVision was released before Loki, but Loki takes place chronologically before WandaVision.
So,technically, it is possible the entire series, both seasons of Loki could have “happened” before the time heist was even over, and before the battle of Earth took place at the end of Endgame.
Loki is outside of linear time.
Due to his speed ability, which can theoretically be used for time travel/universe jumping. Perhaps a storyline of the fake Pietro could be that his universe was spaghettifying and he went some kind of super speed like he never had before to try and escape being turned into spaghetti and somehow ended up being pulled into the MCU scared timeline by the hex, and then scooped up by Agatha before he knew what was happening.
It’s a long shot and probably way to convoluted to fit in with whatever plans are on the MCU horizon.
@@cheshirekat528 I like it
Forget about the roger's musical, we need an 1 hour musical of Agatha all along
WandaVision is my favorite MCU project overall. So much love and effort went into the making of that show. I really loved every single episode. Even the later ones. Can’t wait to see the Agatha Harkness show.
Thank you for doing this again - a fantastic tv show
The show and the hype around it were truly amazing.
Watching this has just reminded me how far the MCU has fallen. I loved this show so much.
I think vision being in black in chess is a massive insight in to his character he is by definition a reaction ai every move he makes is a response
Great recap! I do love Scarlet Witch but this show just didn't do much for me, I wonder if it's because those sitcoms weren't an integral part of my childhood? I mean some of them made it to my country but I'd usually only watch them if I was bored. For me, Moon Knight was my fav. I used to just love Egyptian mythology! It's good there's something for everyone though
WandaVision was a truly great piece of television. But I am not sure how important the events of that show, aside from Monica getting superpowers, will be to The Marvels. I think a recap of Secret Invasion would be much more helpful, especially because the ratings for the show were so poor. That means most people haven't watched it, and Nick Fury seems to be an important part of The Marvels. I had intended to watch Secret Invasion, but I procrastinated starting it until after it was clear from public reactions the show didn't live up to the quality of most MCU movies and shows. I haven't watched any of it beyond the first episode. I would really appreciate a recap that explains what happened to Fury and how the conclusion of the show left both Fury and S.W.O.R.D. A recap of Ms. Marvel might be in order as well. Although, I have watched that show several times because Kamala Kahn was one of my favorite Marvel characters, plus it is impossible not to love Iman Vellani.
that "Not Reed Richards" bit is Too real!
Loved it. Glad to see it was one of your favorites as well. I miss this time and the confusion and wondering what was going on, especially those first two episodes.
THANKS for this!!!!
The editing and dialog are really well done!
I love this show so much, don't care how bad apparently the ending is😊
It's only bad if you live in your expectations tbh. I realized a generic battle was immenent once Sword was involved, turns out it was way better than I expected: Wanda learned to use runes and chose evil instead of freeing Agatha to study with.
@@nailinthefashionWanda heard the mesmerising call of the Dark Hold and could not resist.
A sinister tome of evil that would later cause Wanda to murder over half of the world's practicing sorcerers.
@@griffgames9538 I think she could have resisted, but chose her kids over anything else. Had she listened to Agatha, we wouldn't be here, and perhaps she could have destroyed the Darkhold without the Multiverse of Madness journey.
But I also think this variant of Wanda is destined to make mistakes and that flaw is what makes her the most relatable character to me
@@nailinthefashion- Yes, Wanda could have resisted the Darkhold but she chose not too. Wanda didn't "choose her kids" though because you can't choose something that doesn't exist. What Wanda did choose was to succumb once again to her fantasy world and wallow in her illusions (aka her fake "kids"). Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness was sloppy and regressive storytelling that cheapened the growth the character of Wanda went through in WandaVision. That whole movie really did Wanda dirty and I hope the writers fix the mess they made of her character in a future project.
@@music4thesoul80 oh, you're one of those. They existed or we wouldn't be here, it's more complicated than a fantasy, they were and will be tangible. It didn't cheapen the growth it acknowledged her choice in the end, to, just like you say, wallow in it and ACT on that frustration via Darkhold.
Strange 2 finally acknowledged what WV should have: grief includes anger. It was the 10th episode.
Thanks. That's a great recap. It helps a lot.
Love love love WandaVision! Likely why I am not a fan of multiverse of madness. They totally ignored Wanda's arc. At the very least, the audience needed more time to see her turn to evil. Reading the darkhold briefly just didn't emotionally prepare us enough!
At this point I prefer this channel to what Disney have been putting out. Everything is laced with "THE MESSAGE"
What a masterpiece!!❤👏
Thanks for these.
Can’t wait til tomorrow night.
I want DOUG ❤❤❤ He looks too cute in his Spiderman costume ❤❤
Lol, "mayonnaise Vision" 😂
Still my favorite show!
Must do another rewatch.
In WandaVision - Wanda rewriting reality, mind controlling and the people in hex their minds were not their own …
In DSMM the scarlet witch says “ I was meant to RULE everything but that’s not what I want, I just want my boys “ hmmm is she the KEY to saving the multiverse
Wandavision was great, lacking in some areas, but in terms of the focus and highlight on Wanda's grief and how that affected her powers and expanding upon previous Wanda lore, it was top tier.
In terms of a story telling, week by week television series, it did lack intrigue in some episodes and almost felt misguided in when it should have focused on Wanda becoming consumed by this grief and becoming more of a threat to the MCU and the fallout from said actions. Rather than focusing on the mystery for the most of the beginning, giving Wanda ALL of this therapy in the most villainous way imaginable, then in the final 2 episodes, reveal the mystery and allow her to fly off without any repercussions.
For what it was, it was great and you could get into it. I just wish there were some sort of repercussion for Wanda's actions at the end, or at least give us more of a concrete heel turn rather than simply showing Wanda reading the book of the dead.
Wanda could have been the hero AND the villain in the show, give us that real, raw, uncut depression and anger that turns into hate. Make us feel like we can understand why Wanda HAD to take a town hostage, yet give us the concrete answer at the end that yes, Wanda is now a villain. A good person? Yes, but due to being twisted by her own grief and madness, a fallen angel willing to rip apart the Multiverse in order to reach her children yet again.
Or have Wanda conquer her grief for a time, heroically defeat Agatha, imprison her in her own mind and force her to act like the next door neighbor from heaven while she gets to fly away from a town she held hostage for who knows how long and have Monica Rambeau watch her leave like: "That's a hero 🥹"
You, know.. that works too.
Thanks for sharing
I forgot how creative and interesting this show is
But apart from sharing one character, what have WandaVision and the Marvels got in common?
That's all officially. There's rumors of a cameo of some kind but I don't know if it is Wanda related.
I forgot how much this show rocked
Your sis becomes a demigod whilst you just become a Swiss cheese speedwalker, life ain't fair
WandaVision is still my favorite Marvel show!
It was amazing!
Too bad that Elizabeth Olsen won't return 🥲
I love that show!
I kinda wish that vision after coming out of hex was somehow alive because some dumb logic, he was a really good character in Wandavision i really wish to see more of him
great recap
Wandavision is honestly the best thing Marvel has made. 👏🏻
Don't forget the part where Multiverse of Madness, in like 5 minutes, undoes all the character growth she had in the show
The writer man... ruined both Steven and wanda.
Great Video, Thank you very much. I have enjoyed all your videos. LLAP
You make it sound so good! I remember when it was finished thinking "Just about every theory I read online was better than what we actually got" but maybe after a while, I won't remember why I disliked it so much. I'll give it a rewatch someday, but I'm still mad at Disney for what they've done to Marvel most of George Lucas' stuff. They better keep their grubby remaking/worsening hands off The Labyrinth
Can you do a recap of Ms Marvel? She's in it also!
“ MAYONNAISE VISION “ 🤣🤣🤣!!
Love the recaps. Their the perfect remedy for my aging brain, overstuffed with Star Wars, Marvel, LOTR, Star Trek, Planet of the Apes, etc. trivia.
Excellent Amadeus reference!
🤟🧙♂️🤟
Rich the Ancient Metal Beast
What a great show! We they dropped this I was so excited for phase 4 only Loki really delivered.
damn now I have to rewatch the show. great recap
WandaVision is my second favourite show apart from Loki but during their first seasons they were neck and neck
Thank you for this I just could not get into this show but I did want to know what happened 👍
WandaVision is the template on which Marvel TV should have been. Things happen in each of the episodes. Characters talk, but the story progresses. There is action, as expected, but it is for a reason.
Great recap! In episode 4 though they didn’t forget WestView. The town was originally EastView, she changed how they remembered it. The town of WestView never did exist
Evan Peters version of quicksilver was always the best
I have a theory that Wanda saving Captain America from Crossbones' detonation in Civil War will be the reasons why humans will hate mutants in the MCU.
Every time that green drink is the sponsor, I’m reminded of Ironman 2
Yes!!!
Great recap! The only thing left out was how quickly Wanda lost her accent . . . lol But I loved the early Marvel streaming shows, especially Loki season 1 and I'm really enjoying Loki season 2 and your theories and breakdowns. Keep up the good work. Thanks.
It might be harder to finish it now that I know what happens but at least seems like watching. I watched the first episode last night and fell asleep during the 2nd as it wasn't just doing anything for me. I could recall people saying it was a good show but I wasn't seeing it and after the let down of Secret Invasion and others I thought I must have misremembered that was good but so many comments raving about it I'll try it again tonight.
its been 4000 movies and series and we still don't know where tf is Vision
I know right? No concern for him AT ALL
You'd think Vision's first stop on his new, post-memory restoration journey would be Wakanda -- to acquire Shuri's synaptic refactor data she scanned and re-wrote during Infinity War.
That's probably an important archive of algorithms containing Vision's prior Mind Stone + synthezoid amalgamation.

Perhaps this was in the plans after WandaVision, but Chadwick's passing changed the whole approach to Wakanda Forever -- so an idiosyncratic Vision cameo would have been deemed out of place in that story.
Absolutely nothing connects for real anymore. Wandavision not being interrupted by Strange was the first red flag
Exactly there is no point to anything anymore. Loki even proves that throughout the show, lol
i dont understand what u saying. can u pls explain? (just asking) pls explain :(
Or if Boner was theFox Quicksilver, just that would have saved the finale.
I thought the finale was fine except the Boner thing. I do think they needed an Avengers movie to tie all these stories together in phase 4 though.
Ketchup fighting to keep the mayo out the fridge
bravo....did u do this for all marvel shows?
WV is the #3 show for Marvel/Disney. 1: L0/
I'd agree with that ranking
I always thought her real self was studying the book and the Wanda outside was just a projection
For the beekeeper guy, I heard she make him the icecream seller guy
Nice video
the writing Of wandavision🔥🔥🔥🔥
I still haven’t recovered from the Sparky murder.
WandaVision was revolutionary
This recap really took me back to a time when I had such high hopes for the post Endgame MCU.
Now I have to re-watch this show
Great recap! My wife (and mom) couldn't watch this show because she knew what happened to her kids at the end and she would just not be able to handle it (Doctor Strange 2 was hard enough for her). But maybe she can watch this instead before seeing The Marvels.
The Quicksilver fakeout destroyed all goodwill a lot of people had...
i remember the day when maria said "he's fast and she's weird "🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just so you know, some of your target audience might be people like me… I stopped at infinity war, and I'm just using your shows as a recap to the next big movie event. I want to watch Loki just to see OB and Morpheus but other than that, I'm here for Doug and your recaps make me not have to watch the show 🙂 PS Doug, you are small but you still understand
Hey, 1 other \ thing can you get an Amazon referral link… When I do my shopping this holiday season I'd love to support you that way. As a CZcamsr from back in the day generate some nice Side revenue.
I actually waited so I could binged WandaVision just to skip till the last 2 episodes lol
And then they crapped all over her nuanced character development in MoM by reducing this beautiful morally complex person to "..I'M A MOTHER!" . Raimi reeeally should have been humbler and watched this great show beforehand.
I watched the entire series yesterday, while I was rolling smokes.
I guess I need to watch through this show again. I'm here because I initially thought WandaVision was an absolutely terrible show and didn't want to waste my time watching it again in preparation for seeing The Marvels. Since many people here seem to think this show's quality is somewhere even remotely close to that of Loki, then maybe I should give it a second chance.
In avengers comic vision was stuck in the avengers basement an Wanda would enter his mind and create a fantasy world for them both until they finished building him a body
Thought Vision’s “what is grief, if not love persevering” line was in the end of the last episode?
