- The battle of Pelennor is in full swing! The Riders of Théoden have arrived to face the Army of Gothmog currently besieging the city of Minas Tirith. But rather than deciding Gondor's fate in an all out battle, Gothmog and Théoden have agreed to search for a mysterious heirloom, and the loser is to be sent home.

Good game! Isn’t Goroths rule only for ‘Mordor Orcs’? I did wonder why you only had morannon orcs?
Regarding Keywords Morannon Orcs are "Mordor" and "Orcs", so Goroth can use his special rule (if he would die) on mordor orcs, morannons, trackers, warg riders etc.

Moar lore-accurate/period-appropriate gaemz like this one plz! It's nice & comfy to imagine these fine chaps meeting each other in the field of battle at the Pelennor Fields or something. Unlike stuff like High King Gil-Galad emerging from the mists of time to slaughter some Dalesmen/Gondorians/Hobbits for some reason. I get the gaming/meta/whatever aspect but the cringing feeling I get from batreps like that is the equivalent of listening to the sound of a fork scratching a plate or loud chewing etc.
So you just want guys playing battles and scenarios from the film's and book? Kinda negates from the gaming aspect and makes several armies redundant
Still can’t believe GW didn’t give Théoden 3 attacks. He’s the king of Rohan, hero of legend, he led the charge on the Pelennor fields. But then again they didn’t even give Erol the Young, the frigging founder of Rohan hero of legend despite describing him as a “legendary hero”. So we can’t expect GW to make sense.
He is an old man though! His status is represented by his buffing abilities :)

But this old man killed an large amount of Warg Riders, Uruks, Morannon Orcs, Harad Warriors and in the books even Suladan.
Lets compare him to Shagrat, a solid 3W 3M 3W 3F profile. This for stealing a chainmail from his comrade, starting a small civil war in Cirith Ungol and fleeing from Sam... that is not fair. 😂

What makes elfhelm so much better than deorwine? Kinda wish they didn't cost so much for being forgeworld made up chars (deorwine at least, I know elfhelm is in the books)
Genuinely they're about the same, Deorwine is F5, has bodyguard and gets free heroic combats near Theoden. Elfhelm has fun shooty throwy spear that is a guaranteed leader wound. And the forgeworld models are completely worth it imo! Especially when 3x mounted royal guard are like £5 more
