    You're so good at picking out the nuances of the guitar that you're playing. That definitely separates you from the other reviewers! Also, I love most of the tunes that you play. If you guys could put the artist and song name on the description that would be awesome! Cheers from the US

    Fantastic playing! I love my 15sm. I’ve had it for about 8 and what I’ve noticed is that the tone has completely opened up and it becomes more and more beautiful with time.

      Novak! Thanks for sharing and glad you have a great Hog 12 fretter!! Martins really do open up significantly in the first year, keep on enjoying that fine maturing instrument :)

    Ive got a 14 fret 00017 with a short scale. Its very comfortable. I play it more than my Om 28 When i realized i never used a pick, or played blue grass, i started thinking, and when my shoulder was hurting, i traded in the dreadnoughts.

    Mahogany. Let me tell yea. I’m 70 years old. My avatar I’m playing my 1937 Martin 0-17 back in 1980. I bought it in 1970 for $20 😊

    I bought my 000-15SM 4 years ago and it's a great guitar indeed... it's also great for flatpicking, as it has a lot of punch and bass response... best guitar I ever owned...

    Bought a lefty version just over year ago and price has gone up over $700 Canadian since then. Crazy

      Cost of materials continues to rise sadly. Also, demand for Martins is still at a high!

      For us Lefty’s you gotta get it when you can, they don’t come around often and if we pass it up, you’ll regret it for sure 👍

      Lovely tone from the mahogany and you get the best sound out of it. Interestingly how its tone differs from the 000-15M, especially in the higher strings.

    Im not sure about the entire 0015 m series but my 2016 0015 retro is made from SIPO which as you probably know is African mahogany

    Can i put a pickup in it?

    • @studio1vintageguitars
      @studio1vintageguitars  Před 23 dny

      Yes you can! I would recommend a K&K western series pickup, but there are many good options.
