I have two same bridge pickups in two differend guitars, rosewood and a maple tele. On the maple is more live, you need a less effort to get a sound from them then on a rosewood neck tele. Rosewood its not so sensitive. Neck meterial obviously makes a big difference.

Bought it as soon as it came out. This album had more impact on me than I knew at the time, especially guitar playing. The only song I did not care that much for, was "A Man Needs a Maid," it didn't seem to fit with the rest of the album

Great guitar! Funny how good the materials fabrication and quality control was in those years. I have a 59 CW. It's a wild one. The only year of that slope bracing. If this is a 57-58 then it has the original bracing. Wish mine was, like your's, in great shape. I love the feel of the Brazilian fretboard, don't you?

I was lucky to find a 1963 Martin 5-16 Terz; it just got back from its neck reset, and plays like a dream. The 5-16 is the rarest of the Martin Terz, a total of 127 of them were built, in '63-64.

I just got my 1963 Martin 5-16 Terz back from her obligatory 70+ years neck reset, and man she sounds and plays beautifully. If your wallet can spare it, you'll never never regret adding a Terz to your stable! They record in perfect layering with a standard size and even better with an additional baritone; you get a choir effect! Mine came without a pickguard, which I like a lot. The 5-16 is allegedly their most rare version, with only 127 of them ever made in 1963-64. The Terz was a popular size through the early '60s, when suddenly everyone needed a dreadnought! Martin Terz Players include Marty Robbins, Bobby Gentry, Sting, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, and others. Don't confuse the Terz with a GS Mini, Baby, or other 'backpacker' type guitar. Although those all sound and play great too, the Terz is in a league of its own. The Hedges tune sounds lovely, and I'm jealous of the slot headstock! ;)

Dude! I totally have one of those! I have 1999 Martin HD-28. I bought it a couple years ago for my 50th bday. Took me forever to find one because I suffer from a disease called "left-handedness" so, it's actually a HD-28L. I love it. I usually run 11's on it, for the bendability. However i do get a bit of fret buzz (not sure if string size is causing that). I absolutely love the guitar though. My dad had a 1969 D-28 when i was a kid and you never forget the sound so i always wanted to have one i could play.

There’s quite a lot of evidence that points to this classic song being written by Gram Parsons since it’s been found scribbled down in three separate pages of Grams song writing book and of course it was Gram Parsons who put the song out. As to why he wasn’t possibly bothered by it because accredited to Jagger/Richards is likely because the Stones were in Exile and effectively broke and Parsons was a very wealthy trust fund kid.

The 000 15m is not only one of the least expensive Martins, it is definitely one of the best Martins. Had mine around 6yrs and it’s still my favourite go to guitar.

I just picked one of these up, amazed with the tone out of the little thing. I’m a big dude and I have no issues jamming away on it! The strings feel so strange at first- almost like rubber bands but they sure as hell give a good tone
