  • They say the shortest distance between two points is a straight line, but around parts of Suffolk, it's far from the wisest. Truckers are using a shortcut that doesn't permit their 18-wheelers, damaging property and putting lives at risk.

Apple and Google need to add a trucker feature because no one is going to buy an additional gps when their phone already has one

@@sarahuff1986 Any product is a liability, more like I think they'd face a monopoly battle with other gps manufacturers but the truth is, truckers will just continue using their smart phones for gps and continue cutting through there **shrug** Me personally, I always verify my route is traveling on major routes or highways and as it gets closer to my stop I check the satellite images to make sure the road can accommodate a tractor trailer. Im sure not everyone does that though

YOU HAVE TO PUT UP SIGNS SHOWING BYPASS ROUTE! TO EDUCATE THE DRIVER!
Put a truck stop to rack in some money! just outside of town.

Who hired these Western express drivers without looking at the company. It's tough being a truck driver, I'm dealing with a refrigerated trailer throwing codes for 2 weeks. No extra trailers within miles, even with another possible trailer, it has mechanical failure. No air pressure for 1 mile forcing air to your air dryer in truck.

They have a job and a time frame. If they are late it effects them and their job.

It’s also a little bit of common sense. Trip plan your entire route beforehand!
