And then all leagues will get sued into a oblivion by federal anti-trust lawsuits........ As bad as the NCAA is, yall do not appreciate the bullets that corrupt pos organization has taken for major brand teams. Its not even debatable that for over 40 years college football has operated as an economic cartel.

It is time for the NCAA to just run Basketball leading through March Madness. After a couple of years you can't go back and change the "rules" that were very loosely made and vague. The NCAA started the NIL without proper guidance to begin with and then state legislatures got involved and then the NCAA changes more to allow NIL and coaches to be able to talk. You can't just grandfather rules. TN even wanted to meet in December with the NCAA but was turned down by them. Donde has a pair of BIG Orange ones ... SUE the NCAA so they can be dismantled.

Forde and Finebaum ARE THE LAST pundits who should speak on this. They both have foot in mouth disease even with their impeccable sources. The NCAA is getting it's due comeuppance and everyone loves it. One downside to this is that "being so consumed" with lawsuits the NCAA are bound to lose.....Michigan might just get a nice gift from an overwhelmed NCAA that is now twice shy.

It doesn’t matter what the commissioner think or regurgitate The College Football 🏈 Players Unionization is imminent with Two separate entities Academic & Athletics - Academic will detach themselves to prevent legal obligations and they will receive a lucrative % of the revenues for utilizing the facilities ..
The Athletic Department will be responsible for generating donations from boosters to pay the players with legal contractual obligations with stringent clauses.
Basically, players will get paid now instead waiting for the NFL….

Well when you try to apply guidelines created after events to those past events it’s not exactly an example of “breaking the rules”. Basically the NCAA change the speed limit from 60 to 40 and then sent a speeding ticket to Tennessee for going 60 miles an hour a year and a half ago when the speed limit was 60. These aren’t rules because the federal government doesn’t allow them to be “rules”. They are guidelines/suggestions even if Tennessee break them it wouldn’t matter.
