Ground footage moments after a horrific tornado struck Barnsdall, Oklahoma tonight which resulted in serious injuries across town and many homes were destroyed.
Hey, Claremore here. Jeez, I knew Barnsdall took a direct hit last night but seeing the aftermath is always shocking. Even after 55 yrs of living here and going thru this yrly. GOD BLESS BARNSDALL. Surely the Osage Nation will be able to help it's tribal members out as well. I am disturbed that anyone was lost. Not in this day and age. We just shouldn't lose a single person. YET, most of us do not have tornado shelters. IDK WHY when they build homes here, contractors could at least provide a small basement. We have neither. My tribe was offering it's members who were homeowners, a shelter. Then nothing came of it. UGH. I WANT ONE. I can't afford to have one put in on our own. Lord, and GREAT SPIRIT, please be with the ppl of Barnsdall. I know this is all very overwhelming and we did lose ppl. Very sad. STick together and help one another. Share what you do have. You will not regret it. Be kind to each other in this moment of horror and shock, as daylight has emerged and the true damage and loss will be known.
Not only do they not make it mandatory for a shelter, they also are not well made for a situation this.
Prayers from Enid Oklahoma. I was watching the weather live when this happened. Hearing the updates was awful and utterly heartbreaking. I hope everyone affected can recover quickly 💔
Prayers to all in Barnsdall, from Michigan. Thank you to the storm chasers and broadcasters who undoubtedly save many lives during these tragic events.
Also from Michigan here, i hope the same
❤Prayers ongoing. Hope everyone was warned and got out safely.
It seemed to be one huge, horrible tornado on radar. It is heartbreaking to see the start of pictures of the damage proving its destructive nature. Hoping no lives lost. Haven't heard yet. The losses already are just painful to see. Thankful for those who are helping gather those caught in it ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The first time I have ever seen a debris ball on reflectivity and the correlation coefficient, and I was speechless. I now understand why the weathermen are speechless on nights like this.
Prayers from Florida! In my most recent memories, I don't think I've seen a tornado season this bad since 2011! My heart breaks for all who have been impacted! 🙏🏾 🙏🏾 😔
Omg so horrific sending hope and love to you all from Montreal Canada😢
God, please be with everyone!!!
god invented tornados
@@libertyblueskyes2564 sin invented tornadoes. Like from jackwads who always have to say something to show how much of a jackwad they are.
@libertyblueskyes2564 I'll be praying for you, ma'am!
Those damn sky phantoms bad things happen not their fault good things happen somehow magically make it happen

Was watching Ryan Hall Y'all's coverage last night when Barnsdall was hit. Im so sorry for all your losses.
Hope the Elementals pass by without anymore tornadoes. May Mother Earth show mercy
This is the worst spring I have ever had in my 20+ years here in Missouri.
Overall the numbers are staying within the averages so far this year.
@@virgilhilts3924 stl poppin off tho with warnings
That is horrific my gosh those poor people 😢
Not to mention they were just hit by a tornado last week.
Night time would be the worst because you can't even begin cleanup and inventory until it's light
This tornado roared by me in Bartlesville & sounded like a jet airplane but my house was spared any damage. It got extremely WINDY. I saw the tornado it was a white huge swirling rain wrapped mass roaring like a jet airplane
Barnsdall is a little town with big heart, they can use all help they can get. Some really good people live there. God bless this little town with a big heart.
Thoughts & Prayers 🙏🙏🙏 To The People Of Barnsdall
May our Lord uplift you and comfort you in this sad time😢
God bless all who stopped to aid!
A hellish night that is still going....
Praying for all these precious people and pets!
And a lot of field livestock
At night has got to be extra terrifying!
It literally snapped big big trees in half that’s just insane.. I mean it looks like a warzone
not bad, tornadoes can debark trees
Prayers for the people and animals caught in this crap. Hoping all people stay safe and the displaced animals find their homes.
As far as I know, the Humane Society deploy volunteers during disasters like this to help round up all the displaced pets and get them back to their people.
@@spiralrose This also underlines the importance of having your pet microchipped so you can be reunited.
my heart breaks for these people as am from the joplin area. we are praying for you and your families.
Praying for everyone
Those poor people. My heart goes out to them. All affected by last night's tornadoes and storms are in my prayers 🙏.
It's always so good to see people helping others in these disasters.
🙏❤️
That’s terrible! Prayers….🙏
Rough to watch. I only hope it just barely glanced a corner of the town, though the tornado looked large. The footage at first light will reveal just how extensive the damage is. This town was already hit just a month ago. Best wishes to them for the coming months as they clear up and rebuild.
Prayers coming from Hanover Virginia. 😢😢
i was looking at radar and couldn’t believe the hook echo. it was huge and once i saw a particularly dangerous situation and i knew it was bad. prayers from minnesota
Shout out to all the Chasers that stopped to help. Prayers up for them folks that are affected 😊❤
Prayers for all affected
Our prayers here in MO are with them🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
That loan dog barking, hope someone looks to follow him, he may have gotten out of a crushed house and the family is trapped inside
Stay safe
Prayers being sent 🥺🥺
Praying for everyone I hope everyone is ok
Looks like what I saw in Moore after 2013 and 1999. Sometimes I wonder why I live in this state.
I'm so scared I have 2 Aunts who live in the nursing home and I can't get thru to them on their cell phones
I hope you hear from them soon ❤
@@katiehenry7 Thank you never thought id be this scared at 36. But I'm definitely terrified
@@bradleycarroll8187 I'm really sorry! I think I heard some storm chasers say that some of the communication lines were damaged in the storm... I'm hoping that's what it is. I know that storm chaser Brandon Copic was in Barnsdall for hours helping after the storm. He has a video on youtube and he has been active on twitter. Maybe you could try to get into contact with him. He may have info on the nursing home. I live in Arkansas and we are going to have bad weather on Wednesday. Hoping and praying for the best!
@@bradleycarroll8187 heard anything yet?
@@katiehenry7 yes ma'am I heard from them this morning both was moved to another nursing home, so both are okay shooken up and scared but they are perfectly fine
Was watching the storm chaser radar when this one went over so I was praying for everyone there and trying to do some energy work on the storm to lessen it (what I know to do). So sorry for all these people and animals when you watch radar and know there is nothing you can do to stop it except pray for everyone in it's path. Bartlesville got this same storm a few minutes later. The way it all looked, I was expecting not much left in the area, so nice to see help there too. God bless everyone there, we're all praying for you.
That is devastating damage.
That's soo sad, our prayers are with all the families we just moved back from Bartlesville and we see this it's heartbreaking
Prayers
So sorry for everyone in that area🙏🏻😓😢
Our prayers are with all of you. 😢
Prayers for all involved.
Shear horror for sure. Prayers for the folk in that town.
And thank God, those dogs made it!
Prayers from Bixby, Oklahoma.
Let us know you OK people if you need help . Anything at all ok ! We're your neighbors to the south as in Texas and we will come to help you in time of need !
the y’all squad will likely be there within a few days. if you donate money to them, they can buy the necessary food and equipment to help out there. hope this answered your question :).
God, please give those people comfort
Damn LSM you're always on top of it.
God bless these poor people and animals. This is terrible.
Praying God's healing, recovery, restoration of all lost, and community unity.
Prayers for all concerned..
Oh no😮. I'm so sorry folks.
Oh Lord, please watch over them and lead us the best way to help.
I bet this is an EF4 judging by the debarked trees.
Agreed. For some reason they seem unwilling to label any tornado an EF5, even if EF5 damage indicators are present, I wonder if it has something to do with federal aid?
@KaileyB616 I heard from one person that mobile radar recorded a top wind speed of 224mph in the Minden tornado. It still got only EF3 because of damage.
Barnsdall is loved and embraced. Our lord and savior is looking after you. Be safe.
This tornado developed a massive debris ball signature on radar when it went right over this little town. The NWS didn’t bother issuing a “tornado emergency” for this until almost ten minutes AFTER it had already destroyed the town.
Yes because the NWS people are tornado whisperers and can predict what they are thinking 🙄
God bless and help every one of them!! 🙏
oh dear lord ! I hope these people are OK !
From the looks of the stripped trees with debarking f4
That storm was masive. I watched it hit town on radar. Good luck people. 🤙🏾
Prayers from Virginia Beach, Va… And if There’s organization, taking donations to assist you, please post it.
Faith without works is dead, so let’s figure out how else to help the people here in Oklahoma
In fact, I’m gonna hop on Google myself, but if anyone knows of an organization off the top of their heads, please post it
Y'all squad will be there within a day two tops. They'll help with immediate needs like food, water, supplies etc. They have immediate access to the funds they raise & will use it by simply buying the supplies nearby.
It's amazing what technology can do! And people are not even aware of it!
Exactly 🎯.
@@spacestarkid28 👍
We've definitely come a long way since April of '74! 🌪
People were fully aware of it hours before. What can you do? Nothing. Some of these people don’t have family left anymore and elderly.
@@jamesarnold9799 They don't know that the weather is man-made!
Looks about like every other damn city in tornado alley these days. Get in line and wait your turn to be hit. I hate these things. They seem to be more frequent lately.
@CrazyKazy no it isn't. same thing every spring in this part of the world.
Payers from Edmond, Oklahoma.
Wow, the daylight footage will be incredible.
Stay safe and our sympathies
Thoughts and Prayers to everyone. I am guessing this is a 4.
Praying from Lansing, NC !
💖😥😞oh Lord up above, my heart just hurt's for all of you💖 and I pray to God you can find your loved one's and pet's if any are missing and I'm just praying for all of you ñ💖💖💖
😢
Was watching Travis Meyer he sounded very concerned
Where the Honda civic that b series block belongs to at 1:31
People in Oklahoma are so helpful
I remember hearing about a storm chaser who stopped and helped after it hit.
Tornado was 1.5 miles wide at least
Hoping all affected will turn to You Lord God, only You can help and Save. 💟
Sad
It's going to be okay we will recover
The loving god at work.
At time stamp 1:30 you will notice a vehicle engine block standing on its side. I wonder how far it was carried?
It looks like the building that was covering the engine block blew off the slab it was anchored to.
@@kenycharles8600 I was thinking that too. But some victims of the Joplin Mo. tornado (2011) have never found their cars.
@greenleaf2233 I saw a 20 foot long conex (sea container) folded like a beer can after the Joplin tornado. I worked rebuilding the Joplin high school after that tornado. I'm not an expert. Just bouncing ideas.
A lot of vehicle mechanics around these parts, some engines on A frames in front of these houses. This is the country.
Bartlesville
Bad it striped trees
I feel for the dogs and cats man they are freaked out ...i could only imagine mine he would be beside himself
