Linus Thunderhorse Yes as the US lags behind.. The US brands are so afraid a more advanced machine won't sell. So they won't attend to market it. With being said there are smaller brand equipment makers trying to push the envelope at times..
I don't understand why the concentrated windrow(s) Wouldnt you have to tedder it to dry? Why not just spread it out from the start?
Or is this a haylage application where it will be baled right away and is saving the raking part?

If the ground is wet when u cut it, it can dry out before it is tetted. Less chance moisture will soak into the windrow when raked.

Smart idea to make a double windrow.
we own this mower, its a great mower except the belts that run the conditioner, these belts are not designed durable enough, we have the conditioner set with the biggest gap (lowest power consumption) and we easy burn up a set of belts every year and this issue has left us stranded a few times also, ( we mow with a 110hp massey)
take the conditioner off.. loose chain to the top roller will take more power and since you are loose, the value is not being realized. Crimped hay also looses 10% RFQ and if you sell hay, that can be a loss of 20 to 40$ per ton.
will the mower both groupe to the left and right or just the left??
