    God I love the noise at 8:35, the startup sound of these mowers is so good!

    Try to be rolling forward slowly when letting out the mower and reverse slowly when letting in the mower Gerry- A lot less pressure and strain on the hydraulic ram and the wheel bearings etc this way- very minimal but anything that helps longevity is worth doing !

    Lovely mower . Had one for 7 years . Got rid then , costing to much to keep right . Bought a new krone trailed last year . Streets ahead in build quality. The krone will out live the KV . But the KV just has the edge on cut 👍

    • @gerry6420
      @gerry6420  Před 5 lety +1

      086LAVEY hear that alright on the cut..... havnt heard much about them giving any bother. Know of few of these doing big acres for contractors. Never any bother. One is 10 years old mowing out for self propelled.

    We have a 11ft kvernland that lifts up over , not a swing or a trailed . Its the best mower weve had compared to kuhn and mchale but they are very similar to pottinger and krone . I guaratee it will be no problem for you

    We bought a new Elho Arrow 3200 center pivot 3.2m wide trailed mower conditioner this year to replace our 15 year old Kuhn FC350 3.5m wide side pull trailed mower conditioner. We only need a 95hp tractor on it and it runs nicely @ 11km/h. Having the benefit of mower being able to swing to both sides is fantastic since it means you can get arrow straight lines without gps and also keep the short ends all to one side. It's heavily built frame atleast not sure how the skirts will hold up. Have mowed about 500 acres with it. With a bit of trickery we only paid 11k Euros for it. MSRP for it is 20k Euro atleast over here where I live. Im shocked you bought such tiny mower considering you have decent equipment but I understand your reasoning.

    • @gerry6420
      @gerry6420  Před 5 lety

      Shhs Shsh it’s not that small.... it’s only 1ft smaller then your Elho. It suits the roads better then the 10ft mower. Also fits down our narrow lane. The 6930 is bit over kill on it. Power requirements is only 70hp. I like those center pivot mowers. Great for mowing all on the 1 side.
