If he doesn’t like being around a cat in the house or the hygiene aspect of it, then he should invite her to spend time with him at his house instead of going to her house. If he is spending the night at her place then it’s her household and things should be however she wants them to be. If he doesn’t like cats in the bedroom then good, he shouldn’t have cats in his bedroom. In her bedroom, a cat sleeps on the nightstand and he should just deal with it, it’s not his house.

It sounds like they wouldn't have been compatible anyways, so best for everyone they aren't together.

I used to have a dog, but since then (unrelated to having had a dog) I've become a real clean freak and have seriously thought about whether or not I would be able to have a pet again because of it―it isn't so much "Kyle's" concerns with cleanliness that are a problem so much as his attitude towards animals, like it's fair to be grossed out about brushing your teeth with a brush your cat touched, or to not want cat hair all over your own clothes, but he seems to think that punishing the cat, locking it in a crate, and completely uprooting its life and routines is an appropriate thing to request of someone you've been dating for two months, he's not asking, he's demanding changes, assuming a future together, and threatening to not kiss her/ end the relationship if she doesn't comply; he's well within his rights to realize that he wouldn't be compatible with someone who has or wants pets and to end the relationship because of it, but just demanding that she meet his wishes over her own and that the cat basically be put away like an ugly pillow whenever he decides to be in her space is just ridiculous
We kiss our dog on the lips everyday multiple times a day
But we also wash our faces multiple times a day and clean her face multiple times a day
It's less convenient because of the extra cleaning, but I feel it is a fair price because of how clearly and enormously happy it makes her
If we weren't able to clean both our and her faces often, then we would likely not do it or only do it sparingly
So he thinks it's gross when she kisses her cat? Well, probably the cat thought it was gross when she kissed him. Like come on? You think that cat is dirtier than a human? Probably not.

I own two cats. And I will ALWAYS choose them over a man because my cats were here first. If you don’t or have never owned a pet, to clear up your confusion or disgust… having a pet not only is a 15-20 year commitment, they are also there for you and are emotional support and are your child basically, also keep in mind if you’ve told the guy/girl/enby your dating that you have pets and they know they won’t like the affection that comes with it, then their not the one.
What sealed it for me was when he said he wouldn't kiss her bc it's gross. Dude is using shame and threats of withholding affection to get his way. Nope.
Btw, kissing another human is gross if you think about it. But that's why we have immune systems.
Sorry, if you can't handle pets, then you're not the right one for me. No matter how hot, handsome, kind, or good you are. No one is every truly good in my life that can't love and care for animals...
