I appreciate the heads up on polishes being limited edition or seasonal. Again it's something we've come to rely on and value from Holo Taco. I'd rather know ahead of time so I can grab an extra bottle if I want rather than miss out on something I expected to be around later. You're doing a fantastic job Cristine.

I'd still really love some more... reasonable to make dupes, of some of the remix shades, though. Like a dark purple linear holo (like rainbow flood). Really, what I'd love is a dark counterpart to the rainbow collections- we have brights, and we have pastels... the idea writes itself.
Yes I love really dark (sparkly) shades! Normally I get this by layering at least 4 different nail polishes (black, thin layer dark purple (not dark enough), silver glitter, blue and purple shimmer). Sadly I missed the remix shades (what I would have wanted was already sold out).

I appreciate how open you are with us, I don't think any other nail company would be as open as you are, and that's why we trust you. I understand that things can't always be in stock. I just don't understand why some people keep harping on the Limited Editions. I loved the heck out of Existential Crisis and Cold Shoulder, but in life things come and go.
Maybe it would be too labor intensive, but what if you released like "throwback" collections that have some of the most popular limited edition (or not) polishes? They would be limited edition, but can also return in a later collection after cycling through others?
Maybe kind of like the Cirque Vice collection? Half new half re-releases?
Exactly what Ben said! I made the same point in one of the Holo Taco groups. People would not go to Walmart and cry that the Lady Gaga Oreos are gone and not coming back. They do it because you're accessible and it's probably the reason so many content creators are burnt out.

I appreciate y’all’s desire to be transparent, very refreshing. In regards to “seasonal” collections, when this come about? I feel like it just became a reality to me with the 2021 Cristmas Collection. I noticed it was no longer available and asked customer care about it. They of course mentioned that is was seasonal and is no longer available. However, this “seasonal” description doesn’t seem to apply to the 2019 Holodays collection. In my case I wanted the 2021 holiday collection but at the time was not financially able to purchase. Since there was no mention of it being “seasonal” or it being retired the vault (as customer care stated) I had hope to buy it at a later time. So recently when I went online to purchase it, I noticed it was no longer available. Any thoughts on this? (And please note, this does not come from a malicious place or the need to complain; because I honestly ADORE HT!! I just wanted a bit more clarity) ❤️
I think they said in a podcast that “seasonal” means that it’s until it sells out. It’s not limited edition, because they don’t have a date of when it stops being available, but also they wanted to be transparent and explain that maybe they wouldn’t be able to make more because of pigment issues. So when it sold out Cristine would have to actively decide to do a second batch if the ingredients were still available
I recall in her release video for that Christmas collection, she said something along the lines of “and once these are out of stock, they’re gone”

I still wish you'd mention pre orders and such. Because a lot of people would do that. Especially for limited edition polishes.
If I remember correctly, she’s addressed the idea of pre-orders before and the main problem is the very long lead time to manufacture a collection, I think she said they’d need to take people’s money 3-6 months before delivery in order for pre-orders to factor into their quantities, and sometimes things go wrong with supply chain issues, etc. that result in a product being substantially delayed beyond that.
I was disappointed they took out cold shoulder cause they just started delivering to my country in like June of 2021 and only then could I start buying Holo Taco, and to be honest, is not cheap so I couldn’t buy everything at once, and considering they were launching new collection very frequently and I had to give priority to the new releases to get collection boxes or limited products, so It has taken me some time to be able to buy every collection on the web. Sadly, I saw the video where they announced they were taking out the polish too late, So I never was able to buy it, now I have all other metal frosted but that one, F in the chat for me 🥹
I’m ok with things coming and going or knowing ahead of time. All I ask is you bring back mint money 🥹 Justice for frosted metals
