I'm pretty sure, based on the automatic stat increases, that Mario is actually meant to be a damager and Luigi is meant to be more tanky
so having an immortal dps would be really good.. though not having the Bros Attacks would kinda suck

Besides the remix being an absolute BANGER that mixes the manic silly energy of Tough Guy Alert with the sheer overwhelming force of One-Winged Angel to make a really fun track, my favorite part has to be how the title being "Sephiroth's Inside Story" implies that either Sephy knew about the Bros being in his body and manifested himself inside his own gut, or his immune system is literally smaller Sephiroths.

It's insane how good this is and how well it works it resembles a M&L track to a tee but also is so so clearly still one-winged angel it's amazing
The only thing even slightly off about this whole thing is Sephiroth's sprite being in just a very slightly different artstyle and even then it actually adds to the absurdity of the whole thing
I'd like to imagine Sephiroth would break his facade and get genuinely ticked off about Mario and Luigi countering all of his attacks and all of the ridiculous stuff they do.
This is just as I imagined it would sound like.

Moveset:
Octoslash
His Sword flashes red/green before unleashing an 8 hit combo, where the sword leaves a red/green trail. Press the correct button A/B to block with the Hammer!
Black Materia:
Sephiroths hand flashes red/green three times, after which, in sequence, meteors drop to the mario bros in the order his hand flashes. Press A/B to jump over them in time!
Shadow Flare:
red/green flames start gathering around sephiroth, shooting out at the bros one at a time. Press A/B to smash them back at Sephiroth!
Pierce:
Sephiroth's blade shines red/green and holds it in one of two ways, high or low, after which the Brothers will have to time their Jump or stay grounded to avoid the attack!
Upon hitting a brother, damage is dealt after which that brother will be smacked into the other (but can be caught by them with a succesfully timed press of the button!).
Scintilla:
Sephiroth creates a red/green barrier. For the next turn, only 1 brother can Succesfully attack Sephiroth. the other gets counterattacked and cannot get "Perfect" results on joint moves.
Supernova:
A running sequence starts where a shining meteor chases the brothers. Along the way they are blocked by planet-like statues they must break through using their hammer. Failing to do so in time results in damage and the meteor pushing them further along the path. after 3 succesful planets, the brothers smash the remaining planet pieces back at the meteor, destroying it and ending the attack. After failing to destroy 2 planets, the brothers are hit for moderate damage and get a random status effect.
The theme that plays when Sephiroth summons a meteor, but Mario and Luigi counter it with a Mighty Meteor
Well they can’t do their mighty meteor at the same time, cause it’s not their turn. First they gotta hammer back Sephiroth’s meteor.
Yeah, Sephiroth's meteor sure is powerful, but does it give him a small goodie like a piece of candy or helpful herb when executed perfectly?

So the meteor could be a countdown almost, and the bros have x amount of moves or time to counter it or win the boss fight
I loooooove this so much! It combines the best parts of both songs, I think. The insane frantic tempo of Tough Guy, the sense of danger and intensity from One Winged Angel, and combines it into a unique track. Lovely work!

The description just has me imagining a five minute long attack where every time the Supernova bounces, it plays an in-game cutscene depicting lightyears of travel, smashing through every planet each time
Supernova feels likes a Dream Team attack, where Mario and Luigi have to do many different stuff to stop Supernova from going off.
In Bowser’s Inside Story, it would be the Japanese 20-second attack.
This is literally one of the best things I've ever seen.
