They made sure punches wouldn’t do anything special at first, but - spoiler alert - once you force him to stand on these “arms” to stay upright, that is when you can punch some of the J.E.N.O.V.A. cells out of him, so you can vacuum them in and gain the edge necessary to win this fight.

A meteor comes down to obliterate bowser, destroying several planets in the process.
Bowser looks in the sky, and chuckles as he watches it come towards the mushroom kingdom, before winding up for a punch, and delivering a knuckle sandwich, smashing it into oblivion.

Bowser opens his mouth and begins inhaling. What Sephiroth didn't expect was for the absolute raw strength of it! Being quickly swallowed by the beast, Sephiroth falls deep into bowser's belly..
Upon coming to, he sees two familiar faces inside.
No, is that.. MARIO AND LUIGI?!
He immediately freezes in fear, knowing that he might as well give up then and there. He has the foresight this time to know he's not winning this battle.

You know this makes you think how ironically strong characters in games like Mario, Kirby, and etc are. They deal with cosmic world ending entities on a daily basis and laugh it off afterwards without turning an eye

Oh my god. I love Long-Sword Alert, but the movement at 0:55 cycling through his SMB1, SMB3, and SMW motifs are so subtle before the SM64 joins the climactic “those chosen by the planet” part. I couldn’t stop replaying it!

Neato! A union of two (three including SM64) great games with incredible soundtracks. I especially love Bowser’s theme from SM64 being incorporated :)

sephiroth is absolutely cooked against Bowser.
This is actually one of my favorite boss themes. I mean, One-Winged Angel is- well, we all know, it's amazing in it's own right- but there's something about this battle theme that just stood out to me. It's probably the fact that it's not slow or rhythmic like a lot of FFVII battle themes; it's tempo is *very* fast, almost like you're diffusing a bomb before it destroys the world.
And then after that is dueling with a god, but this theme! It's so exciting! (also, I'm with amateraceon5202 on this one how DARE you get fancy with the font spices back there??!?!??? Bowser's theme in SM64??????? Throwin' us for a loop, this does NOT deserve to be this GOOD!)

I just realized how bad it could be if the dark star copied the one winged angel here....or would it be weaker thsn dark bowser?
almost inarguably far weaker, but since it does know how to copy and combine DNA, it could take from both of them and produce something far worse than the sum of its parts

Something like Demi3 would suck so much in this game. You take ONE hit and that 300 hp goes down to 75.
could you elaborate? I don't wanna be ignorant to some sort of potential gimmick or trick here but I feel like Bowser could probably handle whatever's thrown his way much better than that
@@uncroppedsoop don't worry it's nothing complicated just a spell that does 3/4 of a target's current HP.
When you think about it a lot of percentage based attacks (not counting status effects) in general would probably suck in a M&L game. probably doesn't help that Bizarro Sephiroth would probably move multiple times due to having multiple things to hit
@@Doobie-kx8fk on the contrary, single enemies with multiple target points still only get one turn, best example I can think of offhand is Dark Bowser after healing and growing

@@uncroppedsoop well yeah but I was thinking more of putting Bizarro Sephiroth's fight into the game since that's how it functions in FF7. I know foes like the Dark Star Core and Kretin exist but at same time there's no reason for exceptions to the rule not to exist. M&L bosses throughout the series tend to move multiple times in one turn, especially at low HP. I can't really think of an example off the top of my head for BiS but I do know Princess Shroob has for sure done it, though she is only a single target so my point doesn't hold as much weight.

@nm5329 I mean, there ARE multiple versions of OWA. Not to mention, it could be a remix of the version from either Remake, or Rebirth (heck, there's another theme that could be used from Rebirth....)
