Those M-Bodies had the transverse torsion bars, whereas the R-Body, in essence a reskinned B-Body, had the more familiar old-school longitudinal torsion bars. This is actually my first glimpse of the under carriage of one of these, so thank you for sharing. I always enjoy the transparency of your presentations.

Beautiful car to my eyes Bill. Mike the cop fro, Philly in breaking bad and just call Saul drove one of these. They served as cop cars in some districts so they are tough. Love it.
The car is in good shape but ugly Chrysler made some ugly cars and the Fifth Avenue is one of them we always had a Cadillac or a Lincoln my father always hated Chrysler as I got older I can see why I own to Chryslers and they were carp. Father Knows Best
