- Hear the story of Liverpool MMA star Shem Rock. After getting into trouble with the law during his teenage years & being accused of a crime he didn't commit, Shem fled to Thailand where he fell in love with Brazilian jiu-jitsu, before going to Malaysia and finding a coach that put him on the straight and narrow - leading him to win professional titles in the sport. But as he grew more successful, his past started to catch up with him. This is his story of how he dealt with that adversity, battling with his past to training with the likes of Paddy Pimblett on his way to being signed by Oktagon.

Must say I didnt like Shem much first when he apear on Oktagon, but after seeing this I change my mind on him. He has big mouth but big heart and it is remarkable journey. I am also proud of Oktagon journey they create this video and they pushing from small country organization to europe level.

I heard about Shem a couple of years back and his story. He's a mega humble, hard working absolute talent and I'm proud to sponsor him. Sounds exactly like my story, but we were all over the UK! I became or had to become from a shy smoker to the hardest mtfk around any area. Then started boxing but wasted my talent by doing dumb tish!! Kuffed an amazing job and opportunity due to drugs and drinking etc etc doing dumb shit cos I was still living in the same shitty places
