- This Divers Date was so damaged that its owner thought it was on its way out. But you can always restore a mechanical watch. Right?

Lovley job by the Oris engineer. I would be well happy if my watch came back like that after a service. My first watch was the Oris retangle from the 90s and still going stong. My last watch was the Oris Aquis cal400 Blue dial. That was has everything I ever wanted in a watch. Open back, High Beat, the list goes on.
Beautiful watch.
Incredible Craftsmanship, and of course aaamazing demonstration
Nicely done! For me i would keep using the original dial
Exact same thoughts here, that's too bad to change a very well patina dial and hands... But a good thing to repair all the other parts !

I am about to purchase my 1st Oris. Right now im looking at prodiver GMT. Nice watch
Good choice!
I have one, it's awesome
love the work you're doing and I'm sure you restored in line with the customer's instructions. That said, I'd definitely want to keep that dial, maybe even the bezel insert too.
Another excellent demonstration of Oris after sales service.
Thank you :)
Beautiful!
Fantastic!
Magnifique ;) la patine de cette montre.
beautiful 🤩
what a difference in a watch, looks outstanding
Beauty in all ways
GREAT JOB 👊🏻😎
Top notch customer service ,speaking about ,any plans on bringing back the TT1 Divers?? Crossing fingers 🤞
Magnifique vidéo. Merci pour le partage. Connaissez-vous la date de fabrication de cette montre ?
That's lovely.
Magnifique
There is something about Oris watches that gets my attention when I look at them. Lovely dials, superb execution. Basically, if you are a watch enthusiast, you got to have at least one Oris in your collection. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks ❤
Aquis or a TT-1?
Hi I have an oris 7533p diver and lost one of the lug friction pins for the rubber bracelet
Can anyone tell me where to find a replacement friction pin that will fit?? Thanks!
Get in touch wiht our local Boutique, agent or service centre, they will be able to assist.
I would love see how u would handle a 115 caliber propilot x. With this way of re polishing, all sharp edges is gone in a instant.
I'm asking becouse I recently had a watch polished at my local service center in Denmark. Sadly they ended up making 4 pin holes from the bracelet in front side of the watch, dident want to take responsibility, even tho I had pictures before.
Ended up contacting oris, no help, no assistance to solve the case.
Ended up selling the watch, just to buy a new again, very expensive deal it was, and sadly a very sad experience with the service center.
Beautifully done.
But how had the gold dial got so marked when it’s under sealed glass?
Please model name ?
Does anyone know the reference of this watch? I think I want one 😍
If the watch is serviced in the UK will it receive the same (exceptional) standard of restoration?

Thanks a lot :)
Any chance I can send you my Oris 7638-74, to clean and refresh them?
❤❤❤
Great restoration! Is the original dial and bezel insert returned to customer ?. 2( I have a TT1 200 m diver, .it went for service, I didn't get an original type bezel insert that the watch came with !.I believe watch was serviced in USA, east coast service center. Can my watch be sent to Suisse, to be restored with original parts,as per original specs .? Merci Beaucoup !
Hello :) Please text us at brand@oris.ch, so that we can check with our watchmakers.
& yes, the original dial and bezel have been returned to the customer.

Gute Arbeit! Es wäre natürlich auch sehr interessant zu erfahren, wie viel solch eine Restauration kostet!
Lieber Stephan
Schreib uns gerne an brand@oris.ch, so können wir die Kosten für deine Uhr abklären.
The kettlebell case of these old TT1 divers are so cool. And the wave dial needs a comeback. This watch turned out great. Does the original owner get the tropical dial back?
Hi David,
Thank you :)
& yes, we sent the dial and the bezel back to the owner so that he could exchange them at any time.

Stunning! What model is? Thanks!
An older Oris Divers Date
Lovely restoration, would have kept the yellow dial tho :) Also, any titan restoration videos coming up soo? I have a TT3 you could restore if you run out of watches to show ;) (really hoping for some aquis titanium releases from Oris in the future!)
Hello,
Stay tuned, what's coming ;)
If you have a watch that is in need of a restoration, please drop us a message at brand@oris.ch (+ include some pictures).
@@Oris Will do :) Had to sell 2 of my 3 Oris due to finding out im allergic to steel so only the TT3 remains..

Amazing! Are these repairs done in Switzerland or USA? Is a dial swap an option? I know Rolex does it, but if ORIS offered a dial change, that would be huge!
My Oris will be evaluated for repair by Oris in Boston, MA. I look forward to wearing my watch again in a few months, hopefully.
Hi David,
Yes, the restorations which we film for CZcams are done in Hölstein (Switzerland).
& regarding the dial swap: Text us at brand@oris.ch, we'd have to check with our watchmakers.

Based on all the comments saying "keep the yellow dial" maybe Oris should release a yellow aquis perhaps?
😉
Wie kann man so arch Gehäuse umbringen?😮
Looked better at the start.
Wow this is pure magic!!!! I am in the same situation... my Small Second watch need to be resuscitated! I live in NYC. I did send an email using the Oris website asking for some guidance, but I never received an answer. I would like to know where can I reach or who to contact here in the US, more specifically in New York City (or close by...), in order to either bring my watch or send it. I would really appreciate if you can help me with this. I love my Oris. We had been in some cool adventures together diving in Africa... Patagonia, Costa Rica... ! 👏 :) Thank you in advance!!!!

깨끗이 닦아서 다시 새 것처럼 재 완성하는 것. 기적이다.
very nice good work but should have kept the old dial or put the same colour one on.
Hi John,
We did the restoration as requested by the client. We sent the dial and the bezel back to him so that he could exchange them at any time.
@@Oris excellent you can only do what you are asked to do.
Stuck bezel? End result looks good
😍
BC 3 please...
Great restoration! What does it cost to do a job like that?
Does depends on the movement type and if any replacement parts or polishing involved. You can contact our local service center for a price guide.... see our locator for listing... www.oris.ch/en/service-centres
How much does a repair like that cost?
I definitely chose the wrong career. I should have been working in the service department doing this. Instead I sold them and I was successful at it too… I miss my Big Crown..
Hello @oris i have an now semi old der meistertaucher 7610. This has been with me for a few years and lived many adventures. Bezel is faded now and needs some restoration. How this service works? Is there any flat rate? I wanted to send it but i would like to get a quote first.

Hi, do get in touch with our local service centre, see link for listing... oris.ch/en/service-centres
bring back the TT1
Polish the whole thing
Replace the rare bronze dial and bezel insert for some reason
What a great way to ruin a unique watch.
Or you could read the Oris reply 1 month ago the states: "We did the restoration as requested by the client. We sent the dial and the bezel back to him so that he could exchange them at any time."
The golden dial looks better , should have kept this dial instead of the blue , too common now 😢
Hello :)
We did the restoration as requested by the client. We sent the dial and the bezel back to him so that he could exchange them at any time.
Have a good day :)
Awesome video, gorgeous watch. I have a question my friends from Oris. Did this watch offer a smaller version? I would like one in 40 mm. Thanks and have a great day.
Hi Max, This is a vintage Divers model, no longer in production. Take a look at our existing diving collection with smaller case size, see link for listing... www.oris.ch/en/watchfinder?filters=all,13,16,col26,mv6
😂po
You should leave the golden dial on.
Wanted to say that too, but realized it must be a customer's request. They wouldn't do if not asked.
Totally agree - gone from a watch with an amazing story to just a watch 😢
Hi Marcin,
We did the restoration as requested by the client. We sent the dial and the bezel back to him so that he could exchange them at any time.
Have a good day :)
@@Oris oh absolutely. Totally owner choice. I should say if I was an owner I would leave original dial. Anyway great video and great watches. Well done 👍🏻
