Lucy just gets better every time you listen to her ,how is that even possible .She is with out a doubt the best female vocalist in the world today. The ending of this song is a master class she holds that note perfectly for 17 seconds and ends in a perfect vibrato with air left. Some people may not like Lucy´s style of music. But no one can deny the beauty and perfection of her voice I could gush all day about about Lucy to be this good at 19 is unbelievable imagine what she will be in the years to come. Hi Dennis...As usual a very good reaction to the magnificent and phenomenal Lucy Thomas. Whenever Lucy sings a new song, it immediately becomes my favorite. So now I have 54 favorites! Lucy never ceases to amaze me. She is so talented and skilled for such a young age and just keeps on getting better. Lucy is definitely as close to perfection as one can be. Probably the best among the new crop of young singers and clearly in a class of her own. A prodigy for sure!

I might have said this before, but a couple of years back Lucy covered Run to You, from the bodyguard and her delivery of that song both vocally and visually puts it amongst my favourites.

Hi ya Dennis - once again I love watching your reactions to Lucy's videos - your facial expressions say it all. I have watched Barbara's video of this song and it was done in 1976. There have been many technical advances in audio recordings since then, but I still think Lucy's performance is better than the original. Thank you for continuing to support this incredible young lady. I think Lucy is the greatest vocalist in the world today. Please react to more of Lucy and Lucy and Martha - stay safe and healthy!!!

Dennis, this particular song from Lucy is really pulling me in. To me it is a straight-up love song. I had a relationship like that for 39 yrs. and this piece takes me back there. Those few notes in the intro set the tone for this song. It's light, endearing, very emotional, ... And when Lucy sings the phrase about 'not changing the meaning of one love' and then slides back to the very smooth and light end to the song just wraps it all up in a beautiful package. I can barely get through this one without a very deep emotional reaction (every time). Woof! 😂

After lucy released this one, I went back to hear a Bab's studio version.
Lucy's version is more rounded and fuller. Definitely better than Streisand.

Hi Dennis, Your witnessing the rise of a prodigy. Try some of her stuff from years ago to realize what this girl had back even then. I recommend "Memories" from the "Cats" musical. The power will blow you away..... she really is the Wigan Wonder.

It is a 5 years old video , Lucy was very young, but she sang the song as she was in her thirties, without overdoing it but sharing wonderful emotions . A must see❤❤❤❤
