I'm also a Pamunkey. This lady don't know what she's talking about. We were only here for 4 thousand years the hell is she talking about. They replaced us after they stole our lands and reclassified us as colored or mulatto because we had different shades of color. I don't know where she got her information from but it's wrong lol. Then they brought mongol looking people to classified them as pamunkey. My family tribe is still in Virginia, Washington mainly. I have reddish dark skin long straight and curly jet black hair. It's good to find a fellow REAL triber. (Giving you a tribal hug) do not be ashamed your are not mixed. You ARE a Pamunkey.

The government placed us into ghetto reservations called the projects along with other tribes then reclassified us as colored. Lucky for me I have aunts and uncles who hold grudges lol they have stories that I believe over this nonsense she's speaking

Maybe if Pamunkey had not killed hundreds of settlers it may have faired better for them, they drew first blood and the following history for all natives is on their hands...

We do not draw First Blood Chief Powhatan or the settlers put down in Jamestown because they kept stealing and raping and not staying on the allotted piece of land which was the island of Jamestown given to them by Chief Powhatan

That's not true Thomas Jefferson the third president of the United States classified all indigenous people living in the state of Virginia as Negros If you don't know what a negro is it's a Spanish word that means black person if you have a problem with that take it up with Thomas Jefferson he said it I didn't
