I owned a '77 New Yorker Brougham in 1988! My ex-wife BEAT it down (took her months at MAXIMUM effort!) My only grip with the '78 was it came with the "400" (PIG on gas, little power) and not the "440"!
Great to see such a time-capsule car - the discontinued Imperial rebadged in 1975. I hope that in the passing years you trained in camera control and smooth, slow moves - essential for quality video production.
Not completely true. I'm a millennial and I happen to own a 76 New Yorker. Just like this one except for the roof. My vinyl roof was removed and resprayed by the previous owner.
Lovely car but when classic ride guy visited one in the junkyard the big disappointment is that the space between the b and c pillars is a plastic insert not even sheet metal.
2 door coupe, don't see many of those, usually just the sedans. Lucky for you that you do not have the sunroof, they leaked like a siev. Hopefully yours didn't have the lean burn system on it. My Mom had a 78 2 door from new that had some major issues.
