Seth Hennigan had opportunities to go to big name schools in the south eastern United States...ehem. I'm an alum of one of those schools that has QB issues. I know they reached out to Hennigan. I would have been overjoyed had he transferred there...but alas he remained loyal to Memphis. Got to give him props. Good QB and a good person.
@CollegeUnderdogs I love his play but also the fact that he stayed at memphis when he could have left. Memphis gave him a shot as a pretty much unknown freshman, And he has remained loyal to them. I think he could have gotten more money, but stayed in memphis. You don't get that every day these days
Nice review, just need video of player while you talk. Awesome job 🤙 I'd like to see a review of hidden gems (non starters) power 5 QBs. Have a great day.
Much appreciated! You know I started to pull clips but didn’t want YT to copyright strike me (that happened to me before on other vids I’ve posted) - but maybe I’ll try again with clips on the next vid like this 💯🤙
DENTON, Texas - The University of Memphis football team earned a wild, come-from-behind road conference win at North Texas on Saturday, 45-42, at DATCU Stadium in Denton, Texas. The Tigers (6-2, 3-1 AAC) took the lead with just 12 seconds remaining on a 38-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Seth Henigan to Joseph Scates.
Fair access meant of Zeno. I think he is poised to move up the ladder in ranking. Agree on defense. Also if the O line has improved with the additions and can give him more time, you will see more throws down the field. Good list overall IMHO
Mccloud has figured some things out since his USF/Arizona days but I definitely see the argument (I think the top 6 on this list are pretty interchangeable)
I think he is too…and the other point I didn’t say on the vid is that it’s year two for Mortensen (last year was his first year as a playcaller and I bet he is even better this year)
Byrum was the only other QB that was 3000+ yrd passed and almost 1k rushing besides the Heisman winner Jayden Daniels last season. BB is going to be a Heisman contender again.
USA Today reported two days ago that Nelson was on track to be starter - not saying that to say you’re wrong, just saying that was my source of information on that statement It will really come down to if Nelson is able to grasp Koetter’s playbook enough for Danielson to feel comfortable putting him out there imo
Madson is only ahead cause he has been there longer, Nelson will end up the starter by the end of the summer. The only reason he isn't right now is because he has had like 2-3 months with the playbook, and madson has had 2 and a half years
@@CollegeUnderdogs I think Nelson will end up starting too. It’s just not a lock as a biased Boise State fan I truly believe we have 2 of the top 4 QBs in the MWC and I want too see both them succeed. Maybe one transfers?

auburn??
Great review. If the BSU QB can pick up the offense should be fun to watch.
Thank you for watching! Yes, he gives them an element to push the ball down field they didn’t really have last year
How can he be a top ten QB when he’s never started and still needs to learn the system. Put the cart before the horse.
Salter benefitted tremendously from their cakewalk of a schedule and will do so again
Agreed, but he is a baller
Chandler Morris might be a dark horse
Agreed…I think him and (Coach) Morris will be good combo
Interesting I would have put Seth as number one and Kaidon number two great video
Thanks for watching! Seth at #1 is a fair argument
I have Seth Hennigan as my #1
A conference championship would put the perfect bow on a great career
Seth is an elite.

@@GR-bn3xj reminds me of Michael Pratt

Thanks for watching, Paul! Good stuff here
I have a random question. If Kurtis Rourke and Dequan Finn didn't transfer to P4 schools, would they be on this list, and where on the list?
Yes…Finn in the top 7 (imo he’s in the same ballpark as my current top 6 group)…Rourke would be top 10 probably 8 or 9
Really like the list. Can't really argue with any of the players placement. G5 has some quality players.
Much appreciated! 🤝💯
Great video!
Thank you 💯
I’m ready to see which MAC QB’s rise to the top this year
Not sure about the others, but Jordan McCloud was at South Florida, and he was not impressive then. Byrum Brown is way, way better than McCloud.
Mccloud has figured some things out since his USF/Arizona days but I definitely see the argument (I think the top 6 on this list are pretty interchangeable)
I do remember him at USF actually. The only thing I remember was him being the single cause for one of their losses
Got to have Chandler Morris on this list.
If he stays healthy, he’ll definitely be on this list
I think Zeno is poised for a breakout year. I agree UAB has got to play a little D for it to matter.
I think he is too…and the other point I didn’t say on the vid is that it’s year two for Mortensen (last year was his first year as a playcaller and I bet he is even better this year)
Go KSalt for Heisman!
They won’t give it to him but if he repeats and goes for 3k/1k I could see an invite to NYC
Byrum Brown's gonna be a beast
Facts 💯
Byrum was the only other QB that was 3000+ yrd passed and almost 1k rushing besides the Heisman winner Jayden Daniels last season. BB is going to be a Heisman contender again.
USF needs to be in the playoff hunt (which is feasible) for him to be in Heisman convo…I’m glad he stayed at USF, should be fun year
Kaidon Salter had 2,800 yard and over 1k rushing.
If he's more accurate with the deep he's gonna be something to be reconked with
FRESNO STATE!!! MIKEY KEENE!!!!
He’s a dog!! Year 2 under Tedford should be 🔥
Love Keene, but he's no Haener.
Nah It’s Salter, Hennigan, and Nelson top 3. Salter and Hennigan could be long shot heisman finalists
Hennigan lead Memphis to the Liberty Bowl win over Iowa State.
KSalt is the best in the G5 and one of the best in the whole country.🧂
He’s been that since Cedar Hill days
I’m ready to see him against App State & ECU
One stop shop
Thank you 😑😅
Go KSalt!
Repeat SZN 👀
Seth Hennigan 👍
Byrum Brown > Jordan McCloud
Malachi Nelson may not start. Spencer Danielson said Madsen is ahead of him right now
