- It's here! OUR ELOPEMENT WEDDING VIDEO! We hope you enjoy this video as we share our very SPECIAL day with you all. I never really imagined what this day would like, never really imagined finding someone like Jack but the universe really willed for us to be together. I really believe there is someone out there for everyone. I hope everyone loves as much as we love.
Naomi is Zambian and Jack is British. We are newlyweds very much in love and we are excited to share our journey with you on youtube. We got married in June 2019 at the ages of 23 and 25.
We post new videos, 3 times a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

My marriage was 12 years hell, which got worse after my first son was born... Although we had been together 5 yrs (before we married) and we both have PhDs, it seems upbringing, educated and intelligent doesn't have anything to do with emotional development (which I have learned since). As soon as the wedding ring was on my finger he changed, and after our first child was born, he was even worse... And kept no promises either from our marriage vows or agreements in the marriage... I finally decided, after 12 years of hell, trying to make it work, several marriage counseling phases, and several therapists (for me) that the situation would not change and I learnt I was not the problem ... As they said "you can't change someone, they have to want to change themselves"... He was a "gas lighter" (similar to a narssist) and a "mental sadist" (the therapist classifications) .. And he didn't want to change.. Even when told by counselors he needs eg "anger therapy"... I decided for my own mental health and that of my children, I needed to get out of the toxic situation.... It is the best thing I did... I am still suffering mental issues, burnout and exhaustive depression after 3 years away from him...but time heals (they say) ... And giving my children love, stability, hope and a relaxing environment to grow up in, is my priority!
He is the same with our children... Who often cry and don't want to go to him on his weekends... But legally have to until my youngest is old enough to say no (German family/divorce law, unfortunately we married here, not in the UK)!..
So take your vows seriously and live by them... Then you will have a happy life together. 🍀

But what you don't know from this video is that Naomi had her vows custom printed on some material and stitched into the lining of my suit jacket for our big wedding. Now whenever I go to a black tie event in the future and wear my wedding suit I know I will have Naomi's love wrapped around me.
