- This is a long-overdue review of our 2021 GMC Yukon XL SLT. This is my wife's daily-driver and our main family vehicle. After nearly 3 years of ownership and 56,000 miles, we have definitely put this vehicle through it's paces. I give a brief overview of the Yukon and go over various pros and cons that my wife and I have come up with from our years of ownership.

Enjoyed your review. Were here in Texas also and make many trips with the kids being in tennis and powerlifting. Anywhere you go in Texas is a long trip, so interior room is a must, the interior is huge. Ours is a short version or yours SLT except pearl beige metallic. Love it, to say the least. Drives much smaller than it actually is. So far we have 30k on ours and no issues. I just wish we had the adaptive cruise control.
The Yukon is almost a must-have in your situation! Anything to help ease the burden of the busy and long Texas roadways. Thanks for watching and happy road tripping!
