  • This video covers the installation of the LEM trigger with match components (LEM match hybrid) part 1. These instructions are very thorough and will help you install any combination of LEM and/or non-LEM triggers in the HK USP.

    YOU are left-handedly my single best source of relevant information regarding my gun of choice! - (USPc40), on CZcams! Really glad that someone else out there's got the same affinity for the USP, and tweaking it as much as I would. VERY USEFUL! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Keep up the USP...everything!

    Thanks man, I used this video to guide me through a Match trigger installation... I was able to do it just fine with your detailed instructions. I subscribed and plan to use your other vids on the regular as well.

      Thanks for watching. I'm actually going to cover the match trigger install in another set of vids soon.

    What I learned from this video is if I decide to swap to LEM, to send the gun to HK. Thanks! That’s not a mock on you, but my own personal mechanical incompetence.

      Not a bad option. I had some experience doing several trigger installs, safety levers, etc on the USP before doing this. I probably wouldn't have attempted this install if I was new to the USP at the time.

    ON THE LIGHTING, IT WAS ONLY FROM THE BEGINNING OF STEP 1 TO ABOUT THE 4 MINUTE OR SO, THAT LIGHTING WAS A BIT DARK, THEN IT INCREASES AND IT WAS GREAT VIDEO PRESENTATION, THANKS!

    They are. I haven't tried to put them in a holster, but you're the second person who has asked so I think I'm going to try it. I wouldn't suggest these sights though. While they do clear a suppressor they shoot about 3 inches low @ 7 yards. I figured they give you about a 20 yard zero and I rarely shoot my USPT at that distance.

    I have a USP9. The double action when I first bought it was stiff but smooth. It smoothed out even more about 600 rounds later but now I’ve noticed that the hammer when in double action pull seems to gotten sluggish. It seems that when looking from the rear of the pistol the hammer drags quite a bit on the left side. Are you familiar with this issue? What can I do about it? I’ve not been rough on it but I have about 700 rounds through it now. Thanks for any help!

    GOOD VIDEO TUTORIAL, BUT A TAD MORE ILLUMINATION ON THE INTERIOR OF THE K&K PISTOL WOULD REALLY HELP US VIEWING THE PROCESS YOU PRESENT.. I LIKE THE "THIN BLUE LINE" BRACELET, I'M ALSO A FORMER LEO :).

    Best video showing this installation. Thank you so much. I have a question regarding parts for a hk45ct. I want to keep the safety feature as you did. What exactly are the kit or parts I should order?

    Thanks. But I'm running out of idea for videos on the USP. In the next few weeks I'll be doing some AR-15 and target shooting vids. If you have any ideas for other vids send them my way.

    Can we buy H&K parts through any other distributor, or can only be ordered from H&K ??? I will like to upgrade mine. Usp .45
    Can't find parts for it. Thanks 😊

    Can't you just push the roll pin out half way and push the trigger forward to get the trigger spring out...or do you have to disconnect the trigger bar and take all the guts out?

    • @FirearmTutorials
      @FirearmTutorials  Před 6 lety

      You could try that, but I'm not sure that will work. Please let me know if you do.

    I read somewhere that once you go LEM from da/sa you can't go back?? Is that true?? I'm looking at buying a v1 that was converted to LEM but i'd prefer the decocker/safety, and he has the parts still if it's not a hard process? Thanks man!

    • @FirearmTutorials
      @FirearmTutorials  Před rokem

      As long as you can find the V1 parts it's just a swap of the internals. Not terribly complicated if you have some basic tools.

  • @R_Squared89
    @R_Squared89 Před 2 lety

    Quick question, im converting an old V5 DAO into a DA/SA match trigger kit is there anything not included in the kit that is not reusable from the v5? I also ordered a v1 detent and roll pins. It's kind of the opposite as what you are doing in this video. Basically what parts are not held in common other than the contents of the trigger kit and the detent? Latch? Sear? Disconnect? anything?

    • @FirearmTutorials
      @FirearmTutorials  Před 2 lety +1

      The match should have everything you need. Although I think the bushing or tube is different on the V5. See the last post here which shows the "tube" your gun should have if it's a V5. I guess that's a different one than a V1:

      @@FirearmTutorials haha that 2nd one is my thread on the forum. So the sleeve/ tube needs to be replaced by a complete sear right? I have that part ordered as well.

    Is installing a LEM trigger and removing the control lever completely an option? Or if your HK came with a control lever it will always have a control lever

    • @FirearmTutorials
      @FirearmTutorials  Před 2 lety

      Most LEM versions don't have a safety lever at all. So you can always remove it. There's a a special part that fills the holes where the lever was. It's not possible to de-cock an LEM so these levers only operate as a manual safety lever not a combo

  • @shadowwolf461
    @shadowwolf461 Před rokem

    If I just wanted to remove my saftey and change the hammer could I do that?

    • @FirearmTutorials
      @FirearmTutorials  Před rokem

      There are 3 different hammers: SA/DA, SA/DA match, and LEM. There is also a bobbed version of the SA/DA. The LEM hammer can only be used with the LEM sear and spring. You can swap the plates to make your lever a decocker only (no safety) but you'd still have a SA/DA setup. There is no decocker with LEM.

  • @_k911
    @_k911 Před 8 lety

    So in order to do this set up, I have to have an LEM trigger kit and a match trigger kit?

    • @FirearmTutorials
      @FirearmTutorials  Před 8 lety

      not complete kits. from the match kit you'll need the trigger/over-travel screw, nickel flat spring, hammer spring and maybe the match Trigger RST spring. I haven't noticed much difference between the match and light TRS when used with LEM.

    • @_k911
      @_k911 Před 8 lety

      Okay I understand, but on the hk parts site,you pretty much have to buy the whole kit. They won't let you cherry pick them. Unless I just search the site for the parts here and there

      Call HK customer service directly. They are usually cheaper as well.
