ENGINE BREATHER LEAKING OIL! DAF XF MX-11 Crank Case Ventilation Filter Replaced.

This morning we had to go straight to a breakdown for another DAF with an oil leak. It turned out to be leaking form the engine breather pipe, and a new crank case ventilation filter is all it should need. Follow as I remove and strip down the CCV unit on this DAF XF MX-11 engine from 2021.

Was looking forward to the struggle of changing the CCV on the MX11 ,and it was the easy MX13,was so disappointed lol

So in regards to the crankcase filters, the filter you fitted is for the new generation crankcase. DAF says the old generation you can't repair and you need to fit a new crankcase complete unit.
