    GAWD this looks sooooo goood! Im hurting here. Man! Sad they killed the diesel. Would love a better performing engine than that V6.

    On the highway with 4.10 gears will basically delete 8th gear. Around town it isn’t to noticeable. I drive a Jeep Gladiator on 37s with 4.10s it’s manageable but a set of 4.88 gears would be ideal.

    @brokenwrench404 Před 21 dnem +7

    Some 35-12.50 ridge grapplers would be the sweet spot for this without needing to beef up steering and suspension links or needing a re-gear

      Also depends on wheel and tire setup. Not all 37s are created equal. If you're running really heavy steelies and some E rated mud terrains, sure. Some alloy wheels and some c rated all terrains would be much easier to push along. I just looked up a set of steel wheels (17x9) that are 38 lb each and a set of d rated nitto trail Grapplers are 88 lbs each so that's 126 lbs per corner. VS an aluminum wheel that may be 28 lbs and a D rated 37x12.5 KO2 in a D load rating is like 68 lbs. So that's what, 96 lbs a corner? Lots lighter.

    Im not a big Rubicon fan, but this one I'd happily drive. What a great looking setup.

    37s on a Gladiator requires a re-gear to get as close to the original power band. 4.88 at the very least, 5.13 if you spend a lot of time off road. Also go with ATs over MTs if you daily drive your Gladiator. Idk why Jeep doesn’t offer a factory version with 37s and lifted & geared accordingly, since so many Gladiator owners end up going this route.

      Fuel economy standards. Factory 33s with a BFG KO2 (pretty much the lightest AT tire on the market) means it gets the best fuel economy it can. I'm sure a Gladiator on 37s would sell like hotcakes but the mileage sucks. I get like 17 mpg on my JLU Sport S 6 speed with a 3" lift, regeared to 4.88s and 35" Ridge Grapplers vs like 21-22 mpg when it was completely stock. The gladiators have Dana 44s front and rear across the entire lineup so a 2.5" lift on Rubicons (3.5" on non-Rubis or Mojaves) and a wheel with a more negative offset and you're pretty much good to go on 37s. The stock gearing will suck but it is what it is. Bros who just want to mall crawl won't care about losing 8th gear and guys who do off road will probably have plans for a regear anyway.

    Nice looking rig. Looks like a 37-12.50 would be a better fit as they wouldn’t slick out as much and not fling mud and debris down the side of the jeep

    35*12.5 is about th biggest you can run before nredint a regear and all the ball joints and suspension arms at that size need to ve replaced to xorrect the geometry

    Cool looking. But it’s underneath that counts. For 37s still needs a regear, swap aluminum steering knuckles for cast iron ones, and geo adjust the driveshaft. Hopefully it’s a quality lift with geo corrections to the suspension done already. Did they swap out the rear track bar in order to stuff a full size 37 in spare underneath?

    I have a 23 Gladiator Rubicon, the power steering can barley handle the stock tires. 13.50 wide is ridiculous. The Rock transfer case is better, no "Auto Clutch", and 4:1 gear ratio.

    Dealer installed upgrades (like the tires) is a rip off.
    Yes, they buy and put the new tires on…… where did the old ones go? They don’t give you a credit, or give you those….
    They keep them and resell them

    4.10 axle ratio with 37 MTs, hmmmm thats why its slow. Needs a regear. I wish they offered it from factory just like Wrangler Rubicon trims.

    I don’t know why the dealerships put Toyo mud terrain tires on a jeep? Toyo MT has too much rotating mass/weight you can buy the same size tire for a lot less weight also having a solid axle front end Toyo mud trains are known to pull to the right or the left depending which side of the tire is mounted outward. It just shows me this dealership has no knowledge of what’s really right for a Jeep you will notice a huge difference if you put the same size tire on but a different brand that is much lighter those tires are too heavy for a V6 pen star.

    I had a jeep for about six months, couldnt stand driving it anymore and sold it. Rides like a 3 ton lumber wagon, loud as fuck, TERRIBLE fuel mileage, handled like wheel barrow, and ridiculously underpowered. It had the 3.6 pentastar, I gave it a three inch lift and only put 35's on it. Couldnt maintain highway speed limit in top gear, aerodynamics of a brick. Huge money pit, and really tight interior. No room to do anything. Nothing good to say about jeeps. My illusions were disapprovingly shattered. Never getting another jeep again.
