Very good watching having played at Hesketh for over 40 years the shots you played & had to overcome were very easy to recollect, although not the longest course, when the wind blows the scorecard is irrelevant, that goes for most courses on the west coast....thanks for sharing your round & putting yourself out there cant have been easy after such a long break....may I wish you all the best in your efforts, as I say always a good & respectful honest video. Welcome back to the course, here in New Zealand we have been back on for about 2 weeks and competition golf started this weekend just gone, soooooooooooooo good to be back out there for sure.

Awesome video Peter and especially Carly! I think you should have Carly on all your videos, because she doesn't care and she won't cut you any slack...which is nice! Plus the fact that she is willing to come out there after you almost maimed her in your "Hole in One" quest, makes her a keeper and a trooper.

Looking good Pete! Nice to have Carly along. Courses opened on Saturday in Ontario. Had the best time shooting 10 over I can remember.
Its cool brother, on my first round last Saturday I went 8 over on my first nine and finished with an 86. It takes time. So glad to see you out playing again. You can still beat Rick either way.
I have Arrcos and love it. It has really helped me with club distances and shows me what parts of my game I need to work on.
Been playing for about 2-3ish weeks now Pete. Feels so damn good to get back out. I actually got the GF out to play her first ever 9 holes. Her first ever time swinging a club. I’m back in the US so our lockdown wasn’t as long but maybe something positive HAS come out of this... I don’t have to hear her complain about me playing golf... she can just come with me now 😂 can’t wait for more vids!!
How cool.. I just took delivery today of my new irons. JPX 919 Forged with KBS C-Taper Lite shafts, fitted. Can't play till probably Monday though. Not restricted, just have to work. I also have the Arccos system in the mail on it's way so I'll be happy to get some data on the new clubs to figure out gaps, etc. Good to see you guys are out of time out and can play again. Golf is pretty much the only thing I've been doing through this silly lockdown.

Fortunately good old Texas never closed the golf courses, just put distancing guidelines in place, so I've been lucky enough to keep playing through this. Recently tried Cedar Crest GC here in Dallas, and it's a gem of a muni. Hosted the PGA Championship in 1927, and the layout is great!

You have one of the better golf games of the vloggers that I've watched. With the Mizunos (which I am seriously considering) I'm sure the performance today was more a case of not playing as much with the lockdown than anything else. I also think the friendly rivalries with Rick, and Matt, and the others tends to bring out your competitive best.

I first played Hesketh in wind and rain in November a number of years ago but thoroughly enjoyed it. First course on return was Enville - always great.
Glad to see you back on the golf course in the UK!! Yep, the wind and cold air doesn't help but just being able to get out is great. I play in all kinds of weather here and we get a lot of wind. Rick has put out a challenge match against you soon. Love to see you both together soon.
Glad you’re back out there! I played in Santa Barbara, CA today. Almost had the round of a lifetime...almost, albeit ridiculous winds. Gusts 30+. Let’s just say that my MP-20 HMB deuce was heavily utilized.

nice round peter, I'm still using my trusty Game Golf system though not used it since last year. I'm still waiting for my local course to reopen the only one in England that hasn't. It's a city council ran course but I'm just binding my time. However I have managed to get to my local driving range yesterday and really feeling it today. It was great to hit full shots again after only chipping and pitching in the back garden. Just can't wait for the course to open. Stay save and Good Golf to all ^_^
Played my first round since November, moved to Scotland from Spain, on Saturday at Dundonald and what a lovely course. I played better than expected all things considered but hit a few slices which is a shot I never worried about before. Just good to be out and more games needed

Well played bud. Today was the most rewarding day for me on the links (4 time out sense golf cources opened up in San Deigo, CA). Finally did not duff any tee shots and got a bunch of pars and a birdie. Golf is back....wooohoo!
Pleased to see you back out there Pete. I played Penrith GC today, first time back out too. Shot 1 over my 10 handicap stroke play, and the putter really let me down with 36 putts. Not to worry, plenty of positives!

Great to see you back on the course Pete. I could identify strongly with a lot of the calamities there albeit that I'm an infinitely worse golfer even before lockdown.. 1st round back was Monday in the gloom and wind here in Ireland.. driver was totally all over the place, my partial shots were abysmal either fats, tops or thin bullets, only got 3 putts even near the hole from 18 attempts & donated half a dozen balls to various areas of the course, but it was absolutely fantastic to get back out hitting balls again 👍👍 looking forward to seeing more of your excellent content going forwards, that new putter looks utterly gorgeous 😍

Totally agree with your comments about putting, but I also invested in the Puttout system and copied many of your drills, I have found a massive improvement and from 6/8 feet have enjoyed lots of success, thanks for the tips.

Loving the new clubs Pete, I have to say though the Sim Driver looks 👌 I think it’s gonna be a total game changer for anyone that puts it in the bag.

Played at 7.00 am Monday, was the first person back on my home course (In Wales). The course looked fantastic, felt bad taking a divot. Playing again tomorrow. Its great to be back. Loving the MP20's havent had much chance to use them since getting them. Love Hesketh, especially the hole on top of the mound... and the last few holes. great video :-)

My first round this past May was my first round in 2020 and also my first time swinging a club after 6 months. Shockingly, I ripped my first tee shot right down the middle of the fairway.
I didn't expect to shoot an amazing score either. Shot 83, but want to consistently shoot in the 70s. Plenty of work left to be done, but I believe it will happen with practice.

My first round booked for next week. Happy to see my dad for first time in ten weeks wahoo. That will be greater than any score i shoot!
Glad your able to finally get out my home course closed for 3 weeks but most pay n play places stayed open. If you don't live in the same house they won't let you share a cart. Only rule, golfed ever weekend of this issue except last was pissing rain. Stay safe God bless
Hi Peter, good to see you out! The gf and I played for the first time since last year on Saturday! I too just activated my Arccos subscription as my Cobra irons came with a set. They make you play 2 rounds before using the apple watch because there has been some performance issues with the watch. They want you to know that the arccos sensors and phone connection aren't defective before you try the watch and moan about how the sensors are crap if you're really just having watch issues.
